We are going to be in San Diego for the zoo, sea world and Legoland then heading to Universal and ending with 3 days at Disneyland. My DH and I are taking our 3 kids 7, 3, 1 and my brother and sister 14 &16. Do you think I should stay at the hotel and have a rest day while DH takes the older kids to Universal? Is there much to do there for toddlers? We'll already be at the Camelot Hotel so I could do DTD, or something else close by because I don't want to go into the parks without the rest of the family. Also am I able to go into the Resort Hotels without actually staying there?

Thanks

If you would like a rest day, then the day that the older kids go to Universal Studios would be good. Although toddlers would have fun there, there are also a lot of rides your little ones couldn't go on, or shows that might frighten them (waterworld, backdraft...).

You CAN visit the hotels without actually staying there, though you couldn't go in the pools, of course.
