Ok, so first let me start off by saying that I've been to WDW 15 times, so I know all the details about the parks; etc.

Having said that, I've never been to WDW on a solo trip but would love to do it! I really want to go over my Spring Break this coming Spring! I am looking for some general information, mostly concerning money! I'm great at making itineraries (other people on the DIS have even borrowed my itineraries before! :goodvibes). BUT, when it comes to the whole money situation, I am CLUELESS!! My Dad always takes care of that! Also, we've always stayed at the Swan, where the DDP wasn't even an option, so I'm not really educated on that. I would definitely be staying at a Value Resort since it will only be me going. I'm thinking POP- I've heard it's the best choice?? :confused3 OK, so... my questions!!

1. Overall question- how much (roughly) will the trip cost? (not counting plane ticket). I for sure would want a Park Hopper, and I'm thinking a 5 night stay, 6 day ticket?? plus meals; etc.- What is the rough estimate??

2. For a solo traveler, is it better to use the DDP or not? I would be going during a time when the DDP is NOT free. I would want the Quick Service Plan (probably), but would it just be cheaper to pay for my own meals as I go than to get the Dining Plan?

3. Can I pay for/secure/check-in to a Disney Resort being under the age of 21? (I'll be 20 at the time). Obviously this would be a big issue...

4. What are the best sites/ways to find the cheapest rates for Disney hotels?? Again, my Dad always takes care of the financial stuff. :upsidedow

Thanks in advance for all your help! :thanks:

I for sure would want a Park Hopper, and I'm thinking a 5 night stay, 6 day ticket?? plus meals; etc.- What is the rough estimate?? Just go to the WDW site and start pricing out trips, it's easy and you can input your own options - then compare and see what you can do.

2. For a solo traveler, is it better to use the DDP or not? I would be going during a time when the DDP is NOT free. I would want the Quick Service Plan (probably), but would it just be cheaper to pay for my own meals as I go than to get the Dining Plan? Pay for your own meals, you will probably either pay about the same or a little less, plus no waste!
3. Can I pay for/secure/check-in to a Disney Resort being under the age of 21? (I'll be 20 at the time). Obviously this would be a big issue... I think you just have to be over 184. What are the best sites/ways to find the cheapest rates for Disney hotels?? Again, my Dad always takes care of the financial stuff. :upsidedow Again, just go to WDW site and price it out yourself.

Thanks in advance for all your help! :thanks:

Just go, and have fun:banana:
