not worth even trying to plow out this evening. we are under a blizzard warning till morning. i read the online local newspaper. we are supposed to get 1 to 3 inches an hour till midnight.

I hear ya! Around here the plow guys plow at around 6" then come back later to plow again. Easier than trying to plow 1 or 2 ft at once. Hope all is well!

survived last night with no power outages. took dh about 65 minutes to drive to work that normally takes 30. snow is knee deep and still coming down in flurries. last I heard we are still under a level 3 snow emergency. which means if you are on the roads you will be arrested. looks like the kiddo's will have another day off school tomorrow.

Glad to hear your DH made it OK.

I am hoping for another snow day. Well I did have the dirve way cleared enough that a car could get in or out. But it has drifted over so I have to do it again. I still have the snow pilled up on the garage. I really can't pull it down from above my head without having to go and see the chiropractor.

I am also wanting another snow day. I only wish they would just go ahead and make the announcement now instead of waiting till morning. I am supposed to help with and bring cupcakes for dd valentines party. wonder if they will have it the first day they go back?

Thought about you today when I snowblowed the driveway. Couldn't believe how deep it was!! And harder than heck to snowblow with the 2 inches of ice on top!!!

Thanks for the thoughts. Thankfully we didn't get any ice. But I still have snow halfway up the garage.
