I need to hear from fellow ride chickens about 7DMT!

Ride chickens unite!! 7 dwarfs is easy peasy lemon squeezy for this ride chicken. I don't do tummy tickles or I try not to, and this ride is smooth and easy and adorable!

Mine was a night ride, maybe that's why we were so terrified for 3 seconds or so.

We were lucky enough to ride 7DMT 5 times our last trip in 2014...4 in the day 1 at night. All the day rides we enjoyable but not thrilling by any means....the night ride was much more thrilling (I guess because we were temporarily blinded by the flood lights)

That's it exactly! I remember being kind of blinded and then that drop came out of nowhere! That was my first and only ride on that trip. Looking forward to riding during the day in April!

And, to further reassure, while BTMRR has the lap bar, 7DMT has individual lap bars, so you feel quite snug in the seat, especially if you pull the bar back too far! Super smooth ride, nothing like BTMRR in that respect.

Unfortunately, my designated ride-chickens (DH, DS - he was 9 at the time, and my mom) did NOT enjoy 7DMT and will not be riding it again. However, DH & DS did Forbidden Journey at US and that was much, much, much worse (DS was crying hysterically, 11 now, and DH wouldn't even go on the Dr Seuss rides afterwards - I told them not to go on it, but they wanted to try bc it was Harry Potter), so comparably not even close to as bad as that. They will both (not my mom) do Splash Mt (although DS gets very nervous). Neither will consider any other coaster. DD(8, was 6 at the time) & I find it quite tame, but she's my adrenaline junky.

I don't ride Big Thunder or any other "big" roller coaster at disney but I always ride 7 dwarves because it's such a smooth ride. I think you would enjoy it!

I am also a big ride chicken and I did NOT like 7DMT. To me the drop was too steep!

I am a chicken and it is nothing. It looks way scarier than it feels. No steep drops and nothing is long. Do it!
