I need to do some brain sucking

I'm trying to think of a Christmas/Thank You gift for DS's TAFE (Technical & Further Education) teacher.

He is male, a Christian & a really nice bloke. He has & is going out of his way for DS & I'd really like to re-pay him by way of a thank you/ Christmas/ farewell gift, but I am having trouble trying to think of anything that is not boring.

So, can anyone offer some ideas please,we are running out of time, we have one week.

I bought my daughters teacher some theatre tokens. He loved them. It gave him the choice of which show he wanted to see and was a bit different.

You are on the right wave length Shannon. I was thinking something that won't date, that he can keep & look back on. We kind of decided tonight to see if we can get something for his desk, not photo frames, but something he can look at & remember who gave it to him.

Just not sure what at this stage, but I didn't want to get food as it has a limited life span, a diary is only good for one year. Needed something everlasting.
