Ok, good people -- these FITS passes have me VERRRRY intrigued! We are going to WDW for 12 days this August (and I have really wanted to take kids to Kennedy Space Center as well!) Kids want to do DQ and both water parks. Normally we get 7 day PHPs and take "days off" from the parks, but these passes would allow us to flit back and forth every day to the parks -- wow. It just really sounds like a match made in heaven, and for a price cheaper than a 7 day PHP! Add in a b'fast and wow... what a deal.

What I need to know is:

* Is Paramount the one place to get these? And how is their customer service? Anybody have bad experiences with them? We are looking at getting 4 adult passes and 4 kid passes -- that's alot of moolah!

* Is it like a 30 day PAP? Meaning, if I go to TL in the AM, I can turn around and go to the parks that afternoon -- no problem. Same for Disney Quest? We love the water parks and the boys reallllly want to go to quest, but using a plus or buying a 1-day pass always makes you feel like you have to spend the "whole day" there, rather than get a taste, move on, come back if it really interests you, etc.

* Are the FITS "legit" for US folks? My understanding is that they were geared to Int. travelers. Has anyone EVER had a problem buying / using these as a US bred-n-born? What ID does it require to "activate" these? Is a passport required? Would Paramount accept any liability if for some reason you were told at WDW you could not use the pass?

Sorry to be such a worry wart about this, but it really seems too good to be true -- especially in the wake of Disney raising prices on all the tickets. And my Mom always told me if it seems too good to be true.... well, you know!

THANKS!!!

We just used this tickets during our Easter trip. We didn't have any problems when we turned the vouchers in.

The passes work like the UPHP and PAP. You are free to come and go as you please. You don't have to worry about keeping track of plus options or "wasting" a day on your pass.

We went to DQ several times during our trip. We never stayed longer than 3 hours. There's no way I would have gone there for such a short period of time if I had to pay to enter or using a plus option.

Did you get your FITS from Paramount? If so -- How are they to deal with?

What type ID did you have to show (and where exactly did you have to go to "turn in" your vouchers?)

I STILL don't understand how they can offer these, or rather, how Disney ca let PI offer these -- it's a far better deal than a 7day PHP, and WAY better deal than a 7 day UPH. Is it because most Disney travelers don't stay long enough to make use of these? (i.e. one week trips or less) Perhaps I'd best shut my mouth before Mr. Eisner hears me and shuts off this option too.

Thanks!!

I bought the 10 day passes from Paramount and their service is wonderful. I called and placed my order over the phone because I was at work and did not want to use the computer. Rosa faxed over the paper work for me to sign and send back. The tickets are sent by ups, and I had them within a week of ordering them.
My understanding is that while the FITS and 10 day passes are not suppose to be sold in the US there is nothing on the tickets which state that they can not be used by US citizens. I checked my tickets as soon as I got them and there is no wording on them at all about who can or can not use them.
Everyone on these boards that has used them have not encountered any problems.

I bought mine from Rosa, she was very good to deal with she even makes a copie for you. i haven't used mine yet but plan to in two weeks. I love the idea of being able to go so many different place and not worry about buy tickets. I am taking 2 18 yr olds and DQ, PI, and the water parks are high on the list of things to do. We also are planing on visiting Kennedy SC and have PS at Donalds in the AK.

If disney prints up 3000 of these tickets to sell why should they care who buys them as long as they are sold. If they didn't want to sell them then they would not make them available. I think why it is markets to the overseas guest is because most times they stay longer, seems to me like most average two weeks.

Just get the tickets and enjoy yourself.

My family used the FITS tickets this past February. We activated them at guest relations at MK - took a few minutes because CM wasn't familiar with them. After that we never had a problem, and used the breakfast voucher for the character breakfast at the Grand Floridian.

I will definately use Paramount International and the FITS passes again!

I ordered our passes from Ticketmania. They didn't require the fax. I was able to order on their web site and shipping was free. Since they aren't carrying them anymore, I'll have to use Paramount for our next trip.

I used my New York State Learner's Permit for ID when I exchanged our vouchers.

My guess is Disney doesn't care if these tickets are sold to Americans as long as they aren't advertised. Had it not been for these boards I'd never known about these tickets.

I think many people are turned off by the fact that the tickets expire.

If I were planning a trip for 6 or more days, I'd buy the 30 pass.

Help, I am wracking my brain but cannot figure out what FITS stands for!

I need to investigate tickets as the last trip was paid for by someone else, and the two, or was it three, trips before that were on APs (they really save you money, you know. Uhhhhh, that is if you don't count the fact that we never would have gone in May if we hadn't had them!! ::yes:: )
