So, we're in the midst of planning our September trip (yay!), but I need the scoop on FEA:

1. Is it open at 8:00 AM for EMH? If so, that will totally screw up our usual plan of doing Soarin' first. Sooooo....should we do FEA first? If we still head to Soarin' & then to FEA will the line be completely, insanely out-of-control long?

2. On an Epcot non-EMH day would it be ridiculous to expect to ride FEA (with a decent wait time) if arriving at 11:00? It typically opens at 9:00, correct?

Any info would be greatly appreciated! TIA!

I understand it opens at 9 am. I would still do n (personally) because I imagine everyone is flocking to FEA first. I would probably go over after lunch or even later. I check the wait times all the time and some are low. Check the wait times for the next week or so to determine what will work best for you. Or, you can keep trying for an fp.

We planned to do PPO breakfast at Garden Grill on a non-EMH day, ride Soarin right at 9, FP Frozen and single rider Test Track.

1. Yes it's open for emh
2. I would anticipate an hour or more wait at that time

I would definitely do FEA first over Soarin. With the 3rd theater opening the Soarin wait times haven't been that bad.

We were at Epcot this week on an EMH. morning. We arrived at the International Gateway (we were coming from Beach Club). They started to let us through bag check at 8:00. We got through at 8:10 and were at FEA by 8:20 - 20 minute wait. We walked at a nice pace, enjoying our scenery. Most people were doing the same - only saw one dad running full tilt with a child on his shoulders. Everyone else was relaxed. :hippie:It was much nicer than I expected. We had decided that if it was insane, we were going to skip it (but I have teen daughters, so they would have dealt with it fine). IMO, it was a really cute ride. We all loved it. Glad we did it! I would do FEA first, then go to Soarin'.

Thank you all for the replies! I do believe we will take the advice to head to FEA first & then to Soarin'. FEA is a must-do for us. We all loved the Maelstrom (yes, loved. LOL) and we're anxious to see FEA!

I was at RD at Epcot today. We came in through International Gateway at about 8:45 and headed to Test Track. As we got to Future World we saw the massive amount of people headed from the front to Norway. DH asked me where everyone was going because it was such an obvious crowd. If you try to RD it, I would make sure to be as close to the front of the pack as possible or you will have a long wait. I'm glad we have FP for it tomorrow.
