SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE!!
i really need some help. i think im homosexual or bisexual.its really getting to me. sometimes i have feelings for this boy. or i will think a boy looks cute. and sometimes i will like a girl. and sometimes both. its really confusing but i think i am gay. and i have no self-insecurity about that. but i really need someone to talk to, or more than one person.. please help!!

From the tone of your post, I am thinking you are somewhere around the age of my two sons still at home (16 & 18) and it sure seems like "Too many feelings" kinda goes with the territory of adolescence. When one of my children tells me about something that is/was a real rock in their shoe metaphorically, I try to listen real hard, and problem-solve along with them. In the end though, it often seems that I offer up the same advice: no matter how hard things might be in the moment, just be patient, wait a little bit, and the situation can turn around and life is good again.

It absolutely does help to talk things through with someone non-judgmental. I am thinking that it might be more productive for you to have that interaction "live" with someone you respect and trust to have your best interests at heart. Is there anyone in you community that you would feel OK talking about these things with?

Please know you are not alone in your feelings -- everybody has confusion about one thing or another in their lives -- and there are folks out there that love you very much.

First, Calm Down......we are all here to help! You have a great group of people over here, and most of us have been where you are, and are more than willing to help you through this.

Second, you are not the first person to feel this way, most of us have been in your shoes. Puberty, Adolescence, Teenage years will all reek havoc in you mind and body! Your body is going through changes, and so is your mind. You are turning into an adult. You can quite literally go to bed one day thinking one thing, and wake up the next day thinking something else.

The most important thing is for YOU to accept YOU for who YOU are! Take your time! There is no need for you to rush out and make some huge announcement to your friends and family about your sexuality until YOU are confident in what you want first.

You may want to look for a local chapter of PFLAG in your area, this is a great group of people who just might have a chapter in your area.

Remember, when times get rough, just hop over here for a friendly word and some advice!

When did I realize what was going on? Well pretty much as far back as I can remember. But there was one moment that I was like "That's it!" Do a google search for a video of "Hello Twelve Hello Thirteen". It was during that song in A Chorus Line that I had my own little "Yep! that's me!" moment! Stay positive, and remember, when times get rough, you ALWAYS have your Disney pals!

Sometimes I think we're all a little too quick to want to put a nice, neat label on ourselves. I don't know why we have this tendency -- perhaps it makes us feel safer, or perhaps "normal," because if we have a label, we can find other people who have the same label and hang out with them. But, you know, trying to find the "right" label can be so stressful!

My advice would be to take it slow on choosing a permanent label for yourself. The most interesting people are the folks who have an open mind and allow themselves to experience life without worrying that their label might not fit the experience. Slow down and enjoy the ride, my friend.

thank you everyone who has replyed, its helped alot!! first of all, i have calmed down now.. hehe. and i thought about this for a long time last night. like many other nights in the past years.
it was a very confusing, and weird experience. i read alot of articles about homosexuality, and about coming out. i believe that this is the way I am. and im fine with that and i wouldnt have it another way. now, i dont want to keep this a secret i want to come out to someone. but who should i come out to first? family? friends? guidance counsler?(sp?)who should i go to FIRST.

Well you just came out to all of us, so thats a great start!

I would go with a good, trusted friend first. Someone you can trust not to blab all of your "news" all over town.

ok, i agree with the friend first. i think it would be a good way to see how people react that arent as "close" as parents, although i will choose my best friend first.
