My DD's preschool is having a halloween party and I was told to bring "Spooky" finger sandwiches:eek:

They really didn't give me any ideas so I was really hoping that someone here would have some great ideas to help out!

Thanks

I got this off the WEB for ya!

Spooky Sandwiches

sliced bread of your choice
sandwich filling of your choice
condiments of your choice
Halloween cookie cutters

Make your sandwiches however you'd like, but try to have ingredients
that will stick
together and not fall apart after the sandwiches have been cut. The
metal cookie cutters
work best, since not all the plastic ones are as tall to cut through
all the bread and fillings.

You can use turkey and cheddar cheese, ham and swiss cheese (with
just a little
mayonnaise to moisten the bread), and herbed cheese spreads for a
variety of sandwiches.

Thanks!

And here I was thinking I had to put something gross inside the bread. How easy is that to just cut out halloween shapes! What a great idea.

Thanks again!

WORMS ON A BUN

Try This Ghoulish Dish From FamilyFun

Try this Halloween twist--or should we say wiggle?--on the traditional hot dog and bun.

Ingredients

Hot dogs
Hamburger rolls
Ketchup

Directions

Cut the hot dogs into thin slices and score the edges (about three cuts per slice).

Boil or microwave until the slices curl like wiggly worms. Serve three or four worms to a bun. For an extra-icky touch, add a few squiggles of ketchup and serve with Putrid Punch

The family fun site has some really cute ideas for snacks and other party foods too :)
