So where do I begin. I must have changed things around 5 times now! I have never been to the East Coast and we are planning to do so much! So I need help!

Start point. Myself, DH, DS (14),DD (13), DS (9) and DD (4). WE are planning the following but are finalizing plans this evening so I need help before booking hotels!

Here is what we are planning to do and for how many days. Please suggest things so that I can change things:

Hereshey Park in Pa for 2 days
Kennedy Space Center for 1 day
IOA for 1 day
WDW for 6 days
Blizzard Beach for 1 day

Eating at Chef Mickey's for breakfast one day and Cinderella's Royal tabel for lunch another day.

What would you add for my kids are take out for my kids. Would you get the water park and more option are no? IS typhoon lagoon good for younger kids?

I really appreciate all the help today guys! My DH and I are going to sit down tonight and finalize our plans. I just need help with what to do. I want to make sure my youngest Daughter has fun and isn't always sitting out.

Thanks so mcuh!

Don't worry at all about your youngest feeling left out. That's virtually impossible in Disney. There's excitement around every corner. My son was 2 last year when we took him for his first trip. He was by far the youngest in our group and he had a ball.

Some advice we got (and heeded) about Chef Mickey's was to book the latest time available and make it brunch for 2 reasons: first, you won't be hungry again until dinner time, and second, most of the restaurant has cleared out by that time and you get a lot of character interaction. It was good advice. My son was surrounded by characters every 5 minutes or so.

You've got a lot packed into that schedule. If anything, I'd suggest scheduling in some down time or else you'll be dead on your feet by the last few days. Just remember that WDW is HUGE - like bigger than some small cities - and it will be impossible to do everything.

You're at the right website for planning advice, and you're doing it well in advance, so you'll be fine. You'll probably change your plans at least a dozen more times before you leave. The good folks here will steer you in the right direction. Have fun planning!!!

Yes, you have way too much scheduled! Our limit is two days in a row at any WDW park, then we need a one day break. If we push to 3 days, we just don't enjoy that third day as much because we're pushing ourselves too hard (though you may be okay with 3 days in a row - but I wouldn't plan more than that).

I would use your Blizzard Beach day in the middle of the rest of your WDW park days. It opens later and everyone can sleep in or rest longer in the morning. I would do DTD that evening and explore the interesting shops. Get to bed early and get ready for more WDW.

I'm assuming you are driving. Even if that is not the case I think you really should cut something. I am not going to tell you stories, but I will say that packing too much into a vacation can sometimes end up not being much of a vacation at all.

Not sure where you're coming from - but Hershey Park is WAYYYYY out of the way of all the rest. Doesn't, to me, seem worth it to do THAT MUCH MORE driving for 2 days here. Don't get me wrong - it is a very nice amusement park...but it is no WDW. I'm not sure how many hours it is from Orlando - but I'm guessing at least 15 hours?? Or maybe you're flying or taking a train - you're still talking about a lot more travel time.

If it was me - I would skip Hershey. Maybe plan another, less expensive trip back in a year or two or three and hit Hershey, Washington DC (tons of stuff to do, a lot of history, a LOT of free things - totally worth seeing), and maybe Virginia Beach or something else on the Ocean. You'd have a much less expensive 2nd vacation in the future- but keep everything in the same vicinity.
