ok first and foremost...I know there is a million threads on here telling people how to get in the virtual queue for Rise.....However, it has constantly changed, I have never ever had to do it before, and I'm so overwhelmed scrolling through all the posts with information....here is what I know so far...first I have to have a good universal clock....turn off my wifi and make sure that I am in a good spot signal wise and be ready to go at 1 minute before 7...as in already be logged in to the app...start pulling down on the screen at 7 am and pray lol....also, i know that I can do it again at noon....however, yesterday, I tried to do it at noon and literally nothing ever changed...as in it never even said that the queue is filled up for the day ...all it said was we plan to open virtual queue for ROTR as needed each day and that standby line is available right at park opening...so what am i missing here? im going next week and really want to ride this..Please list all your tips and tricks to help me get on there please???? Thank you

Virtual queue is no longer in operation. Rise and WebSlingers are now standby.

The official position is that the virtual queues may be used again, if lines get too long (whatever that means). But, in that case you would have to be in DL to try for a boarding pass.

There is no virtual queue anymore. They can open it up as needed, but they haven't so far and have had several EXTREMELY busy days in that time frame.
To ride Rise of the Resistance on your visit next week, you will need to wait in the standby line

Yup, and I will add that when I was there last week the wait time for Rise was vastly overstated. It read 70 minutes and ended up being like 30 - seriously. Web Slingers moved fast too, but it was harder to tell since it was going down from time to time. That may change when Genie+ & Lightning Lane start, but for now I think it's pretty easy to ride them.

That Webslingers line FEELS longer with how much the sun is beating on you too to be honest

We did not do Rise this past weekend but Webslingers was the ONLY ride where the wait time was accurate for us (60min Sat evening, but then broke down just after we got through the pre-show- still wait was stated at 60 min and it had been almost that long when it broke down. We had to bail after waiting about 10 min due to a dinner reservation at Blue Bayou) and 70 min posted and that was our almost exact wait time Sunday mid-morning. All other wait times VASTLY overstated.

oh wow and YAY im so happy to hear this.....ive been stressing out over it lol...thank you guys...you made my day:flower1:

Just in time for Genie+ to ruin it. Maybe it'll be okay, but I would check out the information on that as it is launching for Disneyland and California Adventure on December 8. It will almost certianly undermine my advice regarding wait times being lower than posted (though they should be closer to accurate) and in WDW it is possible for the paid slots fo rRise, etc. to sell out very early, so it's no different than fighting for a boarding group. Some people are excited about it, but I am not realy sure why - personally I prefer it without.

I had heard the same sentiment over and over-- "posted wait times were vastly overstated." Womp womp womp, when I did it, it was posted 65 and took just a few minutes longer 😞
