I need some quick advice

I am going to California Adventure for the first time and I have not been to DL in more than 7 years. I will only be there for Wednesday and Thursday of this week, and I need to know what highlights to hit. Is it likely to be heavy crowds? Also, what pass is best for me?

At CA the not-to-miss attractions are Soarin' over California and the Aladdin show. Those are my favorites. Also probably Grizzly River Run, since it will probably be warm. At DL, Space Mountain, Splash Mtn., Indy and Buzz Lightyear Astroblasters.

Fireworks (9:25 Wed, 8:45 Thurs) - fantastic! Get a spot in front of the castle
Winnie the Pooh (if you haven't seen it at WDW)
The Disneyland Story (in the Opera House)
Jungle Cruise with a couple of new scenes
Space Mt.
Buzz (better than WDW)

See it all. IF you have to walk fast, do it. At CA I love the California Screamin roller coaster. Totally awesome. Soaring over California is a favorite of just about everyone you'll talk to. Also...don't miss Crush the Turtle. A lot of people don't know about that one. Aladdin is wonderful. The Tower of Terror is terriffic. At DL don't miss the new Space Mountain and also check out all of what's left of the 50th anniversary merchandise. Have fun!

It shouldn"t be too bad...I think schools are still in(Mine is).

you should do both...
DCA is totally do-able . When you get there, go to the right and get a soarin fastpass...keep moving past the grand californian and grizzly river is on your left.
Ride that...then use the fast pass, then dump down into hollywood and get a fastpass for tower of terror, then get in line for monsters inc. There is great stuff in the art of animation. And go on the day they show aladdin. It is great!!!!
Paradise pier is fun, mulholland madness...and there is tough to be a bug...and california screamin is great!!!!

but you can do it in a day or less. My one tip is if you are hopping, leave DCA an hour or so before it closes. When it closes, you are not the only one who will want to hop.
