what is a great first night dinner, not in park? The day we are at MK i dont want to be gone from park too long, best place for dinner that night? didnt seem like we would like LTT.

Any suggestions welcome
Thank you so much

WCC is a great place to start your trip. It is so much fun and the food is delicious too! It is a lot of fun for the kids. How about Crystal Palace for dinner at the MK? It is a character buffet with Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and Eeyore. The restaurant is beautiful, just off of Main St., across from the castle.

We did our first night's dinner at Chef Mickey's and loved it. It really got us into the Magical world that is Disney. But now that I think about it more, you have it for your farewell breakfast, and I'm probably going to suggest the Crystal Palace for your magic Kingdom day which is in the magic kingdom. That's a character buffet with the Pooh characters. It's a beautiful setting. So I'd go ahead and stick with Whispering Canyon that first day, or Ohana if you'd rather go there.

In the park there is the Crystal Palace which is a conservatory setting and has the pooh characters. It is a character buffet. Other alternatives would be Ohana, Kona, and others discussed. Don't do Cali Grill if you want to get back to the park Asap.

If it were me, I'd probably do Whispering Canyon that first night, CP in the MK day, and keep that breakfast at CM's. You'll have a great time.
