I have some friends who may be able to join us at WDW kind of last minute, if I can get a studio for Oct. 21-26. I'm waitlisted at OKW & SSR, and have been calling to check availability at the other resorts, no luck so far. I don't want my good fortune to be at someone else's expense-but I know that might be the case if I am to get the room-or maybe someone will just need to change dates for a nice reason. I have the 7 day waitlist. Any other tips? Thank you.

I would call every day. They fill waitlists overnight from what I understand--and if there's a vacancy during the day they might give it to someone who calls.

Are any of the days available? Could you possibly get a day or two and WL for the rest? Your WL will only come thru is ALL the days are available...

I've called a couple of times, and VWL has 1 day and BWV has 1 day, but I haven't even asked them to check the 2 resorts I'm waitlisted at to see if any of the days are available. I chose OKW & SSR because they are the largest, so I thought maybe there is a better chance of availability. But if they could split between the 2 resorts that wouldn't be bad! I will call first thing tomorrow! Thank you...

We have been wait listing since April for either BCV or BWV for our 7 night Oct trip. So far....no luck. We are 21 days out and I am now calling every day to see if 3 or 4 days are open. Nothing so far......
Oct is a very busy time with MNSSHP and F&W.

Good Luck! What are your dates? Do you having any reservation at all right now or just waitlist? I hope it works out for you! When I called today the cast member said "we get people calling everyday and cancelling, so keep trying!"

I have a room booked for us 10/24 through 11/02, but the 10/21-10/26 is for friends of mine. They live in MN and I don't get to see them very often. They booked All Star Music with a special offer now, but I'm hoping to get them into DVC so they can save their money, and enjoy DVC accomodations. So, since they now have a room, all is not lost if they don't get to stay DVC, but for awhile it looked like they may not be able to come at all without DVC.

I called today and they said the 25th is available several places, but no other nights. I was hoping maybe all but the first or last, but not to be yet...
