I need some help please

Hey everyone, we just got power back on from Jeanne (woot!) and I need some help...

Tanya & I will be heading out for Orlando tomorrow, but we have a slight dillema. Our precious, our baby, our doggie! We're looking for a good kennel to put her in preferably in the Orlando area. Anyone have any ideas? She seems to get upset sometimes when she's locked up by the groomers' when we drop her off and I was wondering if maybe anyone knows of kennels that might have doggie "suites" as well...

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Tanya would like to know if anyone here has put their pet in the kennels at WDW? I was kinda curious also as to whether they just have them locked up in like a concrete room, or what? Once again, Thanks!!!

Call Disney they have their own kennels, one is near the MK.

Disney has kennels at MK, Epcot, FW, AK. They take it first come first serve and closes an hour after the park closes. I think they're about $9 a day and you do have to walk your dog.

My BIL used them this September when he had to evac from Ivan.

I *think* Disney makes you come and walk your own dog. I'm not sure but I think I read that once. That turned me off because even though I love my dogs, worrying about walking them on vacation isn't my cup of tea. I can't help you other than that JoNooooo.

Where are you staying? Are you flying down here?

I left my doggies at a kennel in Sanford. They're very nice there and the kennels for the dogs are quite large. They take them out several times a day & will even feed them their food which is equivalent to Purina One! If you leave your dog for an extended period of time, they will even bath her!

I was not impressed with the kennels at WDW. They will not handle the pets at all. They lock them in a cage and you must come back often enough to take them out.

I would board elsewhere if you can.
