I've said before, that this Summer, I want to go to California to get some perspective on following a career in screenwriting, but I also want it to be a fun trip with my friends, going to Disneyland, and hanging around California some. We'll all be sixteen, my best friend, who will be driving, will have been driving since November, and since my birthday this year is my 16th, I'm asking for cash and me being able to go on this trip for my present.
Well, I need help in convincing my parents to let me go...
So far, I have these to help back me up:
What else should I tell them? Any ideas? Help would be appreciated, thanks!
Well, I need help in convincing my parents to let me go...
So far, I have these to help back me up:
- I want to get serious about following a screenwriting career (you guys will probably help most with ideas related to this one)
- I think I'm old enough; mature enough; and 'good' enough to handle a couple of days out there
- I'm a good kid (do chores, doesn't get in trouble, good grades, etc)
- It'd be a good B-day present (?)
- I think I deserve it
- It'd only take about 3 hours to get there.
What else should I tell them? Any ideas? Help would be appreciated, thanks!

Thanks.
