I Need Some Advice - College/Career

I do have some news...
I mentioned to my sis that I might talk to the folks about college. She didn't mind, but she didn't want it to be something that caused any conflict.

Mom, sis & I were shopping. I mentioned that I saw my friend, just making conversation & then she asks "have you thought about what you might need to do in order to get a job you want?" I hadn't intended on bringing it up in that manner, but I told her that I'd been thinking about going back to college (I think if I didn't say college, she probably would have). She thought it was a really good idea, mentioning that she & my father thought that's what I should have done all along. My mom seems like she's really supportive of the idea. I haven't discussed it with my father...kinda hoping my mom will let him know what she thinks before I bring it up...just in case.

Tomorrow I'm driving over to speak with an Advisor & the financial aid offices. I'll let you guys know what they recommend.

As the parent of a 27 year old who was out of work and just decided to go back to school, I say talk to your parents and to the people at the school you are planning to attend. DS was able to get student loans as long as he was not living at home. He got a part time job to cover the rest of his expenses.
