I need Pixie Dust for My Mom

Hello Fellow Dis'ers. I had to take Mom to the ER earlier tonight, she is 72 and has a bought with pneumonia and will have to stay in the hospital for a few days. I am taking care of her since my DF passed away last year of lung cancer. Mom has been phyiscally healthy up until this point and since I am the only child and no other family members really, I need my Dis family, because that is what I consider these boards to be, one big family, to send some praryers and pixie dust this way. Thank you.

If your mom starts getting depressed, post her hospital address and maybe we could all start sending her nice cards to boost her spirits, that can really help to know others are pulling for you. My mom had same thing, and the cards helped as much as the medicine did.We al need some extra hugs sometimes.
