So what brands of bath towels are good? The last time I bought towels they were JCPenney Home Collection and they just didn't hold up well. So I am looking for budget minded suggestions of what to buy this time.:thumbsup2

TIA

I have some from JC Penny and they are wonderful! They have them on sale often for 4.99 each. They are quick dry or something like that. I promise, you use these towels, you will want to throw all the "regular" towels away. They are amazing!

I like my Kohl's towels. I bought them on Black Friday for like $2.99 each.

Kohl's had the Big Ones on sale for $3.49, they hold up pretty well. The towels that have held up the best for me weren't budget, so you get what you pay for. Some of my good towels are going on 20 years and still look great.

I have towels from Target that are several years old that still have a lot of life left in them. They're their more expensive towels ($8 ish), but they're great!

Another vote for Big One from Kohls. The hold up very well and are quite affordable. Usually can be found for under $3.00!

I buy our towels at Sams Club. They are soft, plush and high quality. The towels hold up really well and the colors stay bright.

I'm very happy with the Martex towels they sell in "bulk" at Costco. They come in only one color, and they sell groups of bath towels (6 I think), hand towels and wash cloths. I bought these in bulk for a second home, and they are holding up very, very well. Love them. And, can't beat the price.

The only downside is they are white. And, no other choice.

I like the ones in Bed Bath and Beyond, I think they're called DrySoft. We replaced all our towels with these ones because they're so awesome. They're like 4 bucks each and REALLY nice. They're soft enough that I use them on my 3 month old!

Add me to the list of people who buy their towels from Kohls. The BIG ONES are on sale for 50% off this week ($3.49) and there's a $10 off $20 coupon out there plus a 15% reusuable shopping pass. I bought 6 of them today for a little over $10. You can't beat that!

Those of you looking to get new towels.......

If you are getting rid of your "old towels" keep in mind that many pet shelters accept them for a variety of uses. I volunteer at my local shelter, and we are always in need of towels--as long as they are clean, no condition is too ratty.

Noticed yesterday at Target that they had a lot of towels on clearance (I think 30% off).

Thanks for letting us know. I've been wanting to replace all of our towels, but hated throwing them away. Now I know where to take them.

Where'd you find the 10 off 20? I've been looking everywhere!

I've gotten towels at Kohl's and they have held up well. I also check out TJMaxx & Marshalls - you can get some good quality, nice turkish cotton towels there for a good price.
