Hey!!! I can say im new to this board....well first off, im from Miami, and on Saturday the 12th, ill be visiting IOA for my second time, but with a school field trip. Laast time i went to IOA, i planned it all, but got rained out (Hulk was closed all day, and i almost went home REAL mad, until the rain let out a little, and i got to ride it) so all my planning was out the door. First off, do u think there will be a ton of people on saturday, and how long do u think the lines will be (forget fastpass because we want front row of Hulk and fire dragon [ice dragon is closed cuz its sinking into the ground, lol] ) Also, whats a good way to start, ill be arriving at around 11:30 am to the park, and ive heard the best way to go is Spider man, Doom, hulk, and then the rest of the park clockwise, but since im arriving late, i dont know....i REALLY wanna ride everything, seeing as im going with my friends, and i REALLY dont wanna wait long lines, So any IOA veterans, if u can help with the best way to visit, (ill be there from 11:30am to 6pm) without much lines, please HELP!!!!

Also, on a totally unrelated note, if anyone knows where to find concept art and models of IOA before it opened (like the ones they had in the preview center nexrt to King Kong), PLEASE leave a link, ive been looking everywhere. Thanks SO much for the help.....peace

Hi adr315, let me be the first to welcome you to the new Dis Boards!

Unfortunately, Staurdays along with Fridays are typically the busiest days for theme parks. Since you are getting to IOA at 11:30 I would at least expect 45-60 min. wait for Spidey and possibly the other Marvel Island attractions.

Personally I would grab Express Pass for Spidey and head for the back of the park. While your waiting for the EP I would jump in line for fast loaders like JP:RA, Bilge Rat Barge, and DD(probably not as fast loading now that Ice is on sick leave). Then hop over to Spidey, EP time should be about now. After Spidey I would wait out the line for Hulk(prepare for a long wait for front seat), but grab another EP for FearFall. Then all you have left is CITH, Rip-Saw Falls, and Sinbad's 8th Voyage(not counting the play areas, Flying Unicorn, and Storm Force).

Now as for the concept art work, I haven't a clue. Earl, CoasterFEV, IOATech or anyone for that fact may know more as to what happened to to the concept art work and if pictures are available at any sites. I found a pic of the park but it basically looks the same as the park does.

Hope my rambling as helped some and have a great time!

I 've posted asking the same thing. Unfortunately I only have two pics of concept work,The one JPHolic just posted being one of them. But if you look closely at Hulk, particularly the end of the cannon and the station, as well as the building next to it, you will see a few small differences. I'll try and post th other Pic I have.

Yes, it will be VERY busy on Saturday (as it typically is) at IOA.

The good news is that Ice Dragon WILL be open. Testing continued well into Sunday night, and we hope to have it open Tuesday (5/8) at the latest - although don't be surprised if it opens later today (5/7).

Now Hulk on the other hand....that may be an issue.

First off, thanks for all the help guys, it really helpred me plan.....now, what did u mean CoasterFEV about the Hulk? That the front row line would be SUPER - long (no pun intended), or that it will be shut down or testing? The main reason im goining is to go on Hulk (front row or not), cuz i only went on it once, and during pouring rain.....PLEASE tell me Hulk will be operating.....
Also, i spoke to soem friends who went this weekend to IOA, and this is what they said on waiting times.....

One friend went Saturday, and most lines were 60 to 75 minutes!!!! Thats a LONNNGGGG wait.....but then another friend went yesterday and no line was longer than 15 minutes!!! Thats very drastic from day to day!!!! I asked them about Ice, and they said they were angered by it not being open.....But once i told them about the sinking, they were shocked. thanks, and peace
