I need info on the pearls in the oysters in Japan

familymoon - you didn't mention if it was in CA were you were as a child but I bet it was. The Sea World in SanDiego CA had the pearl divers you could watch from above or below through pexi glass. I remember them from my childhood too

Yes - we went to DisneyLand and SeaWorld (and a slew of other CA attractions) as a family when I was little.

I'm definitely in for the DW version - though, I think the kids would enjoy the divers so much more - it must've made an impact on me for me to remember it 20 years later!

Familymoon: Unless they have changed the way they do it...they don't have divers getting the oysters. All they have is an aquarium set up that you pick your oysters out of. Sorry to dissapoint you....although I agree it would be more fun to have divers.

I did not mean that you could not get these at EPCOT but after what I see my nephew did not pay that much to have it set and put on a chain for his GF. The info I gave was just a FYI.
