Can anyone help me find 12 sets of towels and four blankets on a budget? It looks like the least amount I will pay is 2 or 300.00 at the very least :(

Does anyone have any suggestions as to a place that might have good quality towels at a low price? Same going for blankets?

Kohls "Big One" towels are good. And they are not expensive - but if you can wait until their next 15/20/30% off sale you could really get a good price on them.

When is this sale? I can wait for it depending when it is? How do you know which percentage you get off?

Thanks so much... do you have a rough idea of how much they would cost?

I have to second that I love those towels from Kohls - they're my favorite and we received very expensive towels for our wedding. My "every day" towels are the Kohls ones - they're just more soft and I love them! As for when the next sale is, we don't have a Kohls by us anymore so I'm not sure...you may even be able to check their website in a clearance section.

I'd also check bed, bath and beyond with the 20% coupon - you might be able to find something there.

I'd check outlets or clearance sections of websites unless you've got some outlets nearby you to get an idea of prices before spending too much time actually going out to look. You should be able to get some fairly good deals in the next month or so.

Good luck!

I bout DS18 some at JCPenney when he was going to college and they were really soft and pretty reasonably priced.

Isn't it traditional for stores to have a White Sale(bedding, towels etc) right after the new year? I think Penneys and Target both have white sales the first week of January.

I don't know, but if that's the case I'll keep an eye out. I didn't think I'd need to buy this type of stuff for some number of years, but I've found myself in a pickle, so within the next few weeks I'll have to buy them, before 1/18 anyhow.....

Anyone have any idea about just regular blankets you'd put under quilts? Everything I see online is expensive, or I'm leery that it will fall apart after one washing.... I think the only blankets I've ever bought were electric ones, so not the same thing....

I'm intrigued by this Kohl's towel though & we do have a Kohl's near us. Maybe I could apply for their credit card at the same time and get a further discount?

I see that Kohl's is currently offering 50% off their towels mentioned, is that the best deal on them?

You need to have a Kohl's charge in order to get the 30% off discount. Someone usually posts their code here in a thread and someone else posts a free shipping code that can be combined with the 30% off code. Unfortunately they just had the 30% off sale for Xmas. Probably the next 30% off sale won't be for 6 weeks or so.

You might also try TJ Maxx or Marshall's or Big Lots.

Do you know how often they offer 50% off their towels/sheets & blankets? For all the towels, sheets and blankets I need I can get them for 360.00 after a 10% discount.... It's way more than I wanted to spend, but I'm sort of in a pickle here.... Unfortunately we have a lot of beds that need bedding :( Right now they're offering the 50% off, I'm wondering if they'll offer it again when there is a 30% discount offered?

Sorry, that I don't know about as I haven't paid attention to the towel sales.

When you open your NEW Kohls charge, I *think* they offer an additional 20% off your first purchase.

Or, do you know anyone with any type of business certificate that can open a wholesale account somewhere online for a site that sells wholesale towels & bedding? Maybe for hotel supplies... :scratchin

I was at Kohl's today and they have the Big One towels on sale today for $3.99 each in a 2-day sale. I almost bought some, but I really don't need them. My closet is full.

costco has excellent towels. Way better than the expensive ralphlauren we had been buying at bloomies

Ok on this same line..........anyone know where i can get decent towels for cheap cheap cheap. I am not looking for soft all i want is CHEAP and as asorbent as i can get. They are going to be used for dog baths. I wish i could find used towels that have frayed ends but i cant seem to find any at all! (and mine keep dissappearing)

I have bought the bulk white towels at Costco and they are very cheap and not bad at all. You purchase a stack of bath, a stack of hand, and a bundle of washcloths. I don't know if they always have them. I was buying the Kohl's but my daughter is using medication for acne that was bleaching out everything and when I needed just white I tried these.

Maybe contact a hotel in your area. My Mil worked in the laundry at a Fairfield Inn. When they replaced the towels, they gave them to the employees, if they wanted them. Or just threw them away.

I have always found great and super cheap towels, blankets and other housewares at Homegoods, TJ Maxx, and Marshalls. Their stuff was all in department stores at one time and often has the same price tags on it but selling for 50-75% less. ;)
