I could of sworn I asked...but I cant find it to save a life.

I booked, Flight (southwest), Hotel (pop) with the deluxe plan.

Now I know I need to figure out if my suitcase is to big...I am sure it is. And buy the boys a suitcase.

Now, what is next? Aside from packing and scary enough, I'll prolly starting making my list this weekend, and start packing in a month or two.

Go to southwest.com, Travel Tools. On the right--toward the bottom--you'll see Policies. Locate their baggage policy and you'll be good to go! :)

Edited to add:

Next is ADRs if you haven't already made them. Seriously doubt you'll be able to do TS on a walk-up basis.

Is your ticker accurate? Are you going in October/November? And you are already packing? You don't need our help!!!!:lmao:

Will you be there for MNSSHP? Did you get tickets yet? Definately call and make your dining ADRs. You won't be able to walk up to TS restaurants.

Now this may be stupid, but how do i do ADRs???

Call Disney Dining. I'm sorry I don't have the # right here, but look on the dining area and I'm sure you'll find it in no time.

You need to know what restaurants you want, what days, and what times. You should do this as soon as possible if you want your first choice of table service and times.

We had a great time at Whispering Canyon. If you've got boys, do that one for sure! Ditto the character breakfast at Tusker House in AK. San Angel Inn was okay...the boys really enjoyed SciFi Cafe, too. That's all we did in our week there- I didn't want to be tied down every day.

I suggest starting with the Unofficial Guide or Disney with Kids guide for restaurant info. If you haven't sketched out your days yet, do that first. You can get info from the Disney site about early entry and extra magic hour days and times...and park times. If you buy the Unofficial Guide you can go on their website and find historic crowd levels that will help you decide which days to choose...although since you're going after school has started, crowds shouldn't be a big issue.

Once you know which park you'll be in each day, pick the restaurant(s) you want and call Disney to make reservations.

My suggestion is to try to get your entire family's clothing in 2 suitcases. We did this easily with 3 people, even with taking extra shoes and pool noodles, too. Southwest goes more by weight than size...anything up to 50 lbs is free. I bought each boy the cheapie $8 carry on's from Target...that way they could take things to entertain them during our flight and their swimsuits on the plane.

If this is your first trip I would strongly suggest you go buy the Unofficial Guide. It has a checklist for everything you need to do, as you need to do it, starting 6 months before your trip! They give you web addys, suggested touring plans, and all the inside scoop. I wouldn't go to Disney without a current edition of the book!

Enjoy your trip!
