Here is my story:

My family and I are traveling in Sept with my mom & her db we will be a group of 7 and my kids are 9, 7 & 4. So I am looking for CS for lunches that all 7 of us will be happy. My kids are chicken tenders, pizza, Mac & Cheese & burger kinda kids and though I don't mind eating that sometimes everyday for 9 days, No Thanks.

So I am coming to you guys, the experts, to let me know about CS restaurants were everyone can be happy. I would like a couple of options in each Theme Park, we don't even have to eat in the same place even if they are close to each other I can get the kids food and then carry somewhere else is totally fine with me.

I have gotten such great info off of the board I know you guys won't let me down!:thumbsup2

At Epcot, I think you could try Sunshine Seasons in the Land Pavillon. This is where Soarin' is located. For Magic Kingdom, I would try Cosmic Ray's in Tomorrowland. Animal Kingdom is a little rougher and your two choices there would be Flame Tree and Pizzafari. At Dis Hollywood Studios I think the best choice would be ABC Commissary.

There are menus for most Disney restaurants posted; so, you can see the offerings available everywhere and the costs. That will probably be your best bet to review it for yourself.

One Cs place that we really like in the Magic Kingdom (besides Cosmic Rays which was already mentioned) is the Columbia Harbor House ~ They have some really good sandwiches, clam chowder and great chicken and fish. It is by the Haunted Mansion. :lovestruc

At the MK, we love Columbia Harbor House -- good sandwiches and soup (we used to like Pinocchio Village Haus but they took away Turkey Panini and I understand it is basically a pizza place now--and we DO NOT eat Disney pizza); at Epcot, Sunshine Seasons is your best bet; at the Studios we don't eat counter service because we have not found one we like yet; and at AK we love Flame Tree Barbecue--good ribs and chicken.

I hear you on this! Last trip, my kids did not eat a single french fry over 6 days until the very last meal - I get so tired of all that so very quickly, and really so do they. At the MK, Cosmic Ray's was great - rotisserie chicken meal with green beans and mashed potatoes was great, and fed me and my kids lunch. At Epcot, we love The Land - such a great variety of foods. MGM (sorry, I refuse to call it otherwise) we haven't found a place for CS we love. Pizzafari wasn't bad at AK, easy at least!

They took the turkey panini away? They still have it listed on menu's w/ bacon with an update on 5/08:confused3

also, columbia house did away with its soup and 1/2 sandwich!:sad2:

both bummers:sad1:

I know it's not in a park, but we LOVE Wolfgang Puck Express in DTD and will often make a special trip just to eat there. They have a wide variety of things, including gourmet versions of chicken fingers, pizza, mac and cheese.

Columbia Harbour House in MK,Sunshine Seasons in EPCOT

The Mara at AKL and POP Century are 2 other good CS places....

Our favorites:
MK: Cosmic Ray's (burgers with the fixin' bar; rotisserie chicken & ribs)
Columbia Harbor House (tuna salad sandwich)
Epcot: Sunshine Seasons
AK: It used to be Tusker House, now I'd go to Flame Tree Barbecue or Pizzafari
DHS: Hard choice - definitely NOT the ABC Commissary. If it were me I'd take the boat over to the Beach Club and eat at Beaches and Cream.

When in MK, my family loves Columbia Harbor House. We also like the counter service beside It's a Small World (Pinocchio Villiage Haus) If you're lucky, you can get a table by the window and watch the boats as they head into the ride. My kids love it. The menu is pretty good here too!

Thanks so much for all the great suggestions!!! My tumbly is rumbly already thinking about the good food!!!

I think you'll also be ok at more exotic cs locations if you only need kid's food for the kid's. I remember eating a Tangierine Cafe in Epcot for the Shwarma platter and the kid's meal was a hamburger or pizza.
