I need help with a pin.....

Hi All,

My name is Stacy.... i'm a new member here. I need help with a pin I don't have any info on. I can't seem to find my exact pin on PINPICS, but a similar one is #5606 MICKEY MOUSE DETECTIVE. It says there are color variations:

Mine is a gold tone pin: Mickey has gold ears, brown hat, red jacket and yellow card. Is this a variation of the pinpics pin?????? It ©DISNEY on the back though.

If any one has any info on this pin, please let me know. I want to know if it's a "special" pin or just an open edition pin that I could actually trade.

I'm no expert but it sound like you have another pro-pin from Spain

Much like the Largo pins from Florida its a company that use to make pins for Disney but no longer makes them .

Now not seeing yours I can't be 100% sure, but if it is a Spain pin they are not as popular and not worth much.

The Spain pins are poorly made, and sometimes rust around the post area. There are also some pins of this type that are made in Germany.

Best bet is to take a picture and post it, who knows it may be something else other than a Spain pin.

It could be a reporter Mickey pin (look at pinpics 19883 or 3828) those are rare and worth quite a bit.

Thanks for the help.. My pin is EXACTLY like the detective mickey, but just different colors. I thought maybe it was a mystery pin or something like that..... I will try to take a pic and post it here.......

At one time had the pin you are describing.
I can't remember where I got it from. I don't even recall why I no longer have it. I must have traded it off to someone!
I am sure it was a typical Spain pin. Cheaper quality, but tradable. And not a bad pin for someone wanting Mickey or a theme variation.
I have Spain pins in my collection. I just stay in particular themes.
