Well it looks like we need somewhere to stay at the end of our vacation for one or two nights (long story). I doubt the RPR has any availability at this late date for the entertainment rate so we have decided on a Condo/Townhouse. I was looking at the WindsorPalmsresort.com website and see they are showing a special for a 3 bedroom townhome for $129 for July and Aug. Was wondering if anyone has booked thru this website? The townhomes look absolutely beautiful and I know they are brand new, plus I know I have read good things about Windsor Palms on these boards. I just would like to know if anyone has any experience booking thru windsorpalmsresorts.com. I know this is the best place for great advice, I hope someone can help me. Thanks!

Well, I actually found a 3 bedroom condo at Windsor Palms through another website where I got in touch with the individual owner. We've made a reservation for later this year, and the individual actually uses http://www.windsorpalmsresort.com/ as their management company, so they had the management company contact us to make the reservation. We needed to fill out their booking form online, and then I spoke to someone on the phone to give them our credit card # for the deposit.

So, I have booked through them, but haven't actually stayed at the condo yet. Not sure if that helps...

I had one booked earlier this year but changed my plans and a friend of mine had the 3 bedroom townhouse the end of May. He LOVED it!

He booked through www.closesttodisney.com Windsor Palms is a beautiful community and the townhouses are BRAND new and, my favorite, is they have a private pool in the back. The layout is very unique and large enough for alot of people.

I leave tonight for a stay in one of the new 3br townhouses at Windsor Palms. I'll let you know how it was when we get back!

wdwmama,

Have a good trip and I'm interested in hearing about the townhouses too.

To the OP,

Wow, that website is one fancy site!

Are they listed with BBB of Orlando?

herc.

Are they listed with BBB of Orlando

I have no idea, but the townhomes look absolutely gorgeous. Anyway, I guess Windsor Palms is out for us because I tried booking thru www.closesttodisney.com and they have a 3 night minimum. Then I tried thru Windsorpalmsresort.com and they would let me book 1 night @129.00 but with all the resort fees plus $65 cleaning fee the total came to $245!! So I guess I will be passing on Windsor Palms. I still do need one night somewhere though.

wdwmama--would love to hear about the townhomes anyway when you return.

we finally decided on the Wyndham Palms Resort and Country Club, sounds great from what I've read here and I got a 2 bedroom for $89.00 on hotelkingdom. There are 8 of us and I really wanted the 3 bedroom, but didn't see it listed on their website. Well it's only for one day so we'll make due. Could someone just tell me approximately where this is located? I know it's off 192 but whereabouts? We're not all that familiar with that area as we spend most of our time on I drive and Lake Buena Vista. Thanks!
