I ma trying to pick out my TS restaurants and I know we are going to have to pay for a couple of dinners the way I have it. If you have any other recommendations I'd love to heat them. OK here goes
Arrive Sunday 8-10 Dinner @ Purchase $$ Shula's
Monday 8-11 Dinner @ Le Cellier or Coral Reef 1 TS
Tuesday 8-12 Dinner @ Mama Melrose Fantasmic Dinner 1 TS
Wednesday 8-13 Dinner @ Chef Mickey's 1 TS
Thursday 8-14 Dinner @ Hoop De Doo 2 TS
Friday 8-15 Dinner Purchase with $$ DTD
Saturday 8-16 Dinner @ Narcosse's 2 TS

Do you think my choices are ok? Am I using DDP Wisely? This is the 1st time we ever did DDP so I'm not sure if I'm making good choices.

I'm a newbie too, so take this for what it's worth.

But why not switch Chef Mickey's to breakfast, and do that one OOP? I bet it would be cheaper, still give your kids the character meal, and let you do at least one of those 2 meal dinners.

We're planning on some of the same ones: Coral Reef, Chef Mickeys, Fantasmic, and Le Cellier.

Thanks. I appreciate the help. DH, DD7 and I are staying at POP with "The Code". We were not going to go this year but since we got the code I couldn't resist.

I have some suggestions for making your DTD dinner low cost.

Most ticket packages come with a 15 dollar Planet Hollywood food coupon you could use on that day.

Another option is to have a sweet dinner- at Ghirardellis.

You could also do counter service that day, using any extra CS you have left if you did any sharing or used fewer than expected during the trip.

May I suggest that you pay oop for the Hoop-Dee-Doo. For a family of three it cost's us $139.00 (this is a meal that includes gratuity)

We saved those two TS credits wich we then used for both LeCellier and Coral Reef
Depending on what you eat the TS meals x two is a greater cost than the oop cost for Hoop-Dee-Doo or CRT (Cinderella's Royal table which also includes gratuity).......

A seasoned DISer gave me that tidbit last year and he was right. The bill for Coral Reef for the three of us was $150.00 (that was with the old ddp and we did both get appys and all three got dessert that price did NOT include the bar bill)

Dinner at Le Cellier for the three of us was $97.00 (my hubby did not get an appy all three got dessert)

So the dinners for Coral Reef and Le Cellier would have cost oop $247.00 (paid for) vs. oop cost of $139.00 for Hoop-Dee-Doo

Maybe your not and appy or desert person so it may not appeal to you...but either way it was our dinner time TS and I would have ordered an appy or dessert if at home.

I hope this helps.
