I need help from someone who knows...

the directions from I-4 south to OKW. I need to give them to friends before we leave Sunday. I need the street names as well.

I could also use the directions from I-4 south to a local Publix grocery store near OKW as possible.

Please help! I have been to Mapquest and all over several website to get this info and none of them were helpful. So I decided to come to the best place for info.....other DVC Dis members!

These are the directions that I got from Mapquest:

Take EXIT 67 toward EPCOT/DOWNTOWN DISNEY/ANIMAL KINGDOM. (1.17 miles)
Merge onto EPCOT CENTER DR. (0.83 miles)
Take the ramp toward DOWNTOWN DISNEY RESORT AREA. (0.29 miles)
Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto COMMUNITY DR. (0.32 miles)
Turn RIGHT onto PENINSULAR RD. (0.18 miles)
Turn LEFT onto N COVE RD. (0.01 miles)

The actual address for OKW is
1510 N Cove Rd Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830-8421

I don't go I4 - at the first real exit to Florida turnpike - I get on US 27 South - stay on it for around 15 to 20 miles (stay in the right lane) - then get on US 192 around 7 miles - big sign can't miss it - entrance to WDW - then take the DD exit - Buena Vista Drive - turn left at the first light after the overpass - then on this road turn right at the second light on to Disney Vacation Drive - then the second right into OKW.

there is a short cut - by several roads off US 192 - but it might be too confusing.

Simplest directions (perhaps not the most time saving):

1. Get off on the exit with a sign for "Downtown Disney" or "Downtown Disney Resort Area."
2. Follow the signs for "Old Key West."

The signage in and around Disney really is excellent. As long as you know the resort area you are looking for, it's not hard to find the signs that will take you right to the entrance.

There is a publix right at
8145 Vineland Ave - its right where Dolly Parton's Dixie stampede is.

The directions I always give and follow myself on southbound I-4. Exit 67 and follow the DD signs and you will see the OKW signs.

Community Drive is now Disney Vacation Club Drive if I remember correctly. But the signs to OKW will be very prominent.

I will search how to get to the Publix so thanks for the address.
I remembered about the Community Drive being changed to Disney Vacation Drive. Let us just now hope the weather is nice next week!
