I Need Happy Thoughts/Wishes For May 6th

Ok everyone . . .can we all get together collectively as a group and wish/hope/pray, etc for NO RAIN on Saturday May 6th in the Northeast? It's DD's junior prom and I'm the "host" house and there are many people coming over to take pics of their kids and their dates . . .I need to hold the rain off till at least 7pm. DH has been working really hard on the back yard to have it look impressive for pics . . .and we absolutely cannot have it rain!

So besides me emailing all the local weathermen, and my mom going to hang out her rosary beads . . .let's get together collectively and push this rain that is supposedly coming outta here!

I'm jumping on your wish-wagon...my DS is making his First Communion Saturday and I'm having about 65 people at my house afterwards! Here's hoping for no rain so people can be outside!!

Ok, it's suppose to rain in my part of the US on Saturday. I'll send out a weather bulletin requesting that it all come my way (at least I won't have to water my garden). Now, each of you can have a beautiful day for your parties. Good luck.

Hope it works - DD's prom was a little over a week ago, and we were fortunate to have great weather. Not like last year's prom, when we had some SNOWFLAKES in the afternoon!

Pooh's Pixie - Hope your 1st Holy Communion also goes off without a hitch! I remember those days . . .

DD has already informed me rain or not we are taking pics outside . . .she wants me to set up a sheet under the arbor so their shoes and bottoms of their gowns don't get wet and then she wants some kind of covering over the arbor . . . Why don't we just hang up some signs that say "THE PRINCESS REIGNS HERE"

Weather.com does say showers - just not sure what time that means. I'll be at an indoor health seminar from 8am-4pm so Im hoping it clears up by the time Im out.

I'll say prayers and send pixie dust...we're also having our DS's First Communion on Saturday. Since my backyard is being dug up for a pool, it is either a dust bowl or a mud pit. With all the people I'm expecting, I'd rathe the dust bowl.
