I need DVC pts. for Dec.27,2003 - Jan.2, 2004

Help,
I am planning a trip for my family of 8 for Dec27 - Jan 4. This is our Christmas present so I would really like for us to all be able to stay together, like in a villa. I would like to rent pts. form a DVC member (not sure how many I need). I have never done this before, but I am very interested. Thanks alot!!!

I have a Boardwalk Villa standard view 2-br checking in on 12/28 checking out on 1/2 for 5 nights for $2,400. I can also add additional nights for 1/3 and 12/27 (or waitlist them).

However, to rent points for 12/27 (premier season) is not a good deal. It takes 103 pts and at $11 per point, it would be 1,133. It seems that you would be better off finding some type of discount (AAA or Disney Club) and pay cash to reserve this night. 1/3 (adventure season) takes 51 pts, and I would rent it for $560 for this night if it becomes available.
