I need creative help (tattoo)

In January I was going through some rough times.
I got this tattoo

Then in Novemeber I got 2 stars in my ears for ear of my boys.

So did that one hurt really bad? I love it.:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Thanks, I really love this one!
No, this one didn't hurt very bad at all.
However, the one I got the day after turkey day on my other foot hurt like hell!! It hurt for like 2 wks!! When I get home from work I will post a picture of it.

This is one celtic representation of strength. A celtic tree of life would be very nice too. It depends on how big you want to get.

I like the idea of a tree representing strength..and it could also symbolize the family tree. I am redoing one of mine with a similar idea.

I also like this, meaning motherhood.

Is that the celtic symbol for motherhood? That's gorgeous!

You know...once you get one...you can't stop. They're addicting!

I have 5. And I love that symbol...I'm thinkin' it may be 6.

That's true. I'm having a hard time not going back for more. Someone told me it was REALLY addicting and I didn't believe them til I got two.

I need to get them touched up BADLY. but here's mine.

Feet ones hurt bad - bad - bad! I have 2 feet ones, and one around my big toe. That one, I know I saw the light. I believe I began to step into it. I know I did. The pain was terrible!!! ;)

Alright - inner wrist tattoo's. Love them. Totally am going to get one.

Okay - you have 3 kids. You remember how when you were in JR HIGh, how you would doodle hearts (at least I did) one up, one down, one up, one down? Kwim? (I can post a pic if you want, to see what I mean) And of course, making it more fancy-schmancy, with some depth - not just *kerplunk* like a stamp.

Then - what are your kids birthstones? The colors? That would look cool.

Or - what about your kids birthflowers? All in a buddle? That would look super cool too. And perhaps a flower that means strength or calming, along with it - lemme look that up.

Check this out: http://www.beyondblossoms.com/flower_meanings.php - snap dragons mean strength.

Check this out too: http://www.pioneerthinking.com/flowerlanguage.html (looks like you could use some bay leaves with your flowers - they mean strength)

I have two tattoos. Both are for my kids and are on my lower ankles, inside.
My boys are on my left. Their names with two blue intertwined hearts in the middle.
My daughter's is on my right. It is her name above a pink heart.
I love all of the Celtic ones that have been posted.

I really like that! I'm really wanting a side ribcage one right now and I'm thinking of two small butterflies and one big one to represent my 2 DDs and my mother who passed away before they were born. I'm having trouble finding good tats for girls.

I love the red Celtic one representing motherhood!

Keep in mind, too, that you don't just have to stick to already done tattoos. The kitty on my right ankle is a combination of a patch from Walmart and a tattoo that I saw online. Unfortunately, the kitty tattoo online was smoking a cigarette but I really liked the body. The tattoo artist combined the head the patch and the body of the smoking kitty. It came out really, really well and I know that mine is totally unique. He even made the kitty's eyes blue to match mine.

I thought long and hard where I wanted it. I decided on my right inner ankle because that way I could enjoy it as well as others.

And yes, they are addicting. I'm thinking of another one to somehow commemorate my running the Goofy challenge at Disney in another week.
