I need computer HELP ot

Ok so I found some advertisers that will let me put their banners on my pages and if people come and click, sign up, or purchase the money will go to the fund.

Now how in the world do you "embed" something into your webpage? I tried copying and pasting the banners, but it comes up only as a link and then when you click on it there is a fatal error.

I believe it should look something like this on your page html

< a href=" address " > < IMG SRC =" banner image address " > but with no spaces.... I hope i got that right
