I need comforting.. :(

My step-grandfather has a large amount of scar tissue in his lungs, left behind from a war. He is barley hanging in there. He is at his home and my step-father left a few minutes ago to head over in his last hours he might have. I dearly wish I could be there but my mom said it would be too much on him. Since my step-father left to go visit him, I've been on the edge of tears. I have always thought the Dis as somewhere I could go in my time of need. Wether it be a dying grandfather or I just need help on a quest. Please Dis'ers can you comfort me in my time of need?

All I can say is I'm terribly sorry to hear this
There is really nothing much you can say in these situations but all you really need to do is to let everything out and know people are caring and feeling for you

I know how it feels to lose a grandfather, but for me it was a great-grandfather, just let it out, don't be afraid to cry it is a natural reaction, talk to other people about what's going on and understand everything happens for a reason. Just hope and pray for the best

that is so sad.. in my case it was a grandma && i remember crying.....ALOT....it wasnt exactly one of my best days lets just leave it at that lol.....but you need to remember that he'll be w/ you forever and even tho you mite not think so he is.

just think hes in another room but he has the flu so you cant come in && visit him. its ok to cry.....thats probably the best thing to do. eh i did alot of that when my grandma did. it mite be lonely sometimes but you have to keeps your mind positive at all times.. and remember anyone is there to help you whether it be your best friends && mite i suggest dancing to make you feel better <----like that
