I have been driven to the point of insanity planning our November trip already and I haven't even hit the window to make FP+ selections yet. I booked when the FD became available with the pin code and had to shorten it by a say on each side to get the resort I wanted, then waited to make my ADr's at 180+ only to experience problems with the system and having to wait on hold on the phone for a long time to try to get what I was able to,then my DH informed me he was unable to get that time off work and to take our adult DD and DGS(age2)instead, so I then went back into change ADR's and was surprisingly able to find some for character meals for DGS,then realized I made them for 2 people and needed them for 3....SMH. So I called last friday to add DD and DGS and remove my husband and try to change ADR's to 3 they were able to change 2 of the 3 Adr's and said all changes would be updated on my MDE.Well I checked all weekend and no changes to the ADR's were showing and it still showed my husband and not my daughter but my grandson was showing and under the magic band link it said my husbands name but under the picture of his magic band it showed my daughters name and no I had not done anything at all for the magic bands. So I called Disney and was on the phone for over an hour today trying to get it all straightened out being transferred several times but in the end finally got everything fixed except 1 ADR and it is showing up correct on MDE.But then I realized I had added ME when I called friday and gave them all the flight information for arrival and departure but it is not showing up on my MDE. Now I probably am going to have to call them back right? I know some of the issues were on our end and I have received nothing but kindness from all the CM's I have spoke to but I am almost to my breaking point.I really don't think I can take another hour+ phone call right now. And for the record I am always excited to plan out my Disney vacations and don't mind planning out everything in advance I like it that way but as others have stated I am starting to feel overwhelmed.
Sorry for the long post but I feel a little better now.

You are not alone! Every time we have to call it's an international call as well. For a company as large as Disney you'd think they could shell out for an 800 #!!! I have never felt so much stress planning anything ever - my husband is at the point that he'd cancel the whole thing if the flights were refundable :(

I totally understand your frustration and your husband's wanting to cancel the trip except that the flights are not refundable.I know Disney doesn't have a 800# for us here in the states but thought they had one for their international customers.I agree that there is absolutely no excuse for them not to have one, don't really see any logic in them not having one,if I had to worry about paying for all the calls especially at the international rate and being on hold and all the transfers that would just increase my anxiety.I feel so bad for you and hope that you get everything straightened out in a timely manner so as not to incur additional costs to what is suppose to be a magical vacation.I am sending you some pixiedust:

Just wait until you have to book your FP+!! Look, I don't mind taking some time to decide what parks we will be visiting on certain days and I don't mind scheduling our dining. When it comes to figuring out what rides you would like to ride at a specific time during the day, that's where I draw the line!! I didn't realize how difficult it would actually be. We have been to Disney several times, and we go every year. So we are very familiar with what rides to choose for our FP+ and to be there at rope drop. I couldn't imagine going there for the first time and trying to figure all of this out!! It doesn't help when you have to call multiple times to get everything straightened out. Good luck!! Hopefully everything will get taken care of and you will have a wonderful trip!!

Wow. This is exactly why we won't do WDW anytime soon. I would rather relax on my pre-vacation and during. Yuck.

I definitely feel your pain! We have gone every summer since my dughter was little! It is a big expense, and we got a lot of fun out of it. I am about to hit the 60 day mark and I am not really looking forward to being there!

Never minded making ADRs 180 days out, but trying to wait for the ticket ID to be emailed so that I can attatch it to a buggy system to make FP+ reservations for rides, only to have to get on lines to avoid other lines when we are in the park: just a bit misdirected, but then misdirection is the goal, isn't it!:teacher:

...I don't see returning next year, even though I have a bunch of unused tickets. Microplanning is not magical to me.

Well the glitches continue today,I am unable to view MDE today it just keeps saying information is not available at this time please try again later. I cannot check dining it says we're sorry there is a problem searching for reservations at this time, same thing if I try resort reservations.I have rebooted the computer, logged out and back in and also tried from my Iphone and still get same error messages. Starting to think they got tired of me calling so blocked my account :rotfl2:I can sign out from mde and then it will allow me to check dining availability without any error messages

This is me! I get excited picking the resort. I look forward the the ADRs, to do so I pick the park days. But I NEVER plan on which rides we'll be at or even in which section of the park on a given day. If an area looks a little crowded, we'll go back to it later. We have our list of "must dos" and the rest is extra so I don't sweat it. Now I'm booking my FP+ in a week and just realized I need to pick time slots. Trying to pick a "strategy" is driving me bananas! :scared1:

I know how you feel.I was just there in April with DS and his family we stayed offsite and it was before the 4th and additional FP+'s and hopping were allowed. We did rope drop everyday and planned FP+ for later in the day and only did one park per day, that strategy worked great. But on this trip we are hopping so I am planning on booking FP+ for the second park later in the day then doing rope drop at the first park and doing what rides we can.My issue for this trip is my DGS is age 2 so other than TSMM I have no idea what to book FP+ for because he is unable to do any of the other rides at DHS.If anyone has any suggestions they would be much appreciated.
