I need a room!

I wanted to come down a day before my business meeting to take a mental health day, by myself, and when I called DVC today the guy I spoke to told me that they are completely full at every resort. How can that be? This is not a really popular time of year, it is after Thanksgiving and before the Christmas rush. Could he have been too lazy to look at all the resort and just told me there was nothing available? Should I call On Friday when they open and ask again?

Oh I can see DVC being full for the holidays. You could probably find a regular resort room. Good luck.

Early Dec is very popular. The points are in the lowest of point seasons, all of the holiday decorations are up and all the holiday events are taking place.

Early December is definitely one of the most popular DVC times of the year, with most booking at 11 months out.

because of all the decorations, shows, fireworks, special events - since the beginning - early dec has been popular and you need to make your reservations in Jan for it.

It is EXTREMELY popular for DVC members because of the combination of holiday decor and the lowest point requirements.

I'd keep calling up til the 6th. We planned a 2 night stay at the last minute just last week and all the studios and 1 bedrooms were initially full. I was calling 3 and 4 times per day to see if any rooms opened up (this is about 4 days before our planned trip). Rooms opened up for both days eventually at OKW, SSR and AKV.
