I need a pep talk, please

Frances cancelled our Labor Day trip. (Would that be called a Francellation?!?) It would have been our first trip home since becoming members 15 months ago.

We've rescheduled for Oct 14 - 18, but we're on the wait list. Our first choice is our BWV home, but we'll take any resort.

What are our chances? I know that's F&W, so I'm kinda bummed about the odds not being in our favor.

Has anyone ever had good luck with the waitlist in October...this late in the game? Please let me know...and send pixie dust.

Wishing you luck with your change of plans. We lucked out sneaking our week vacation to OKW in between Charley and Tropical Storm Gaston (followed us up I-95 to NC). I think it was a wise choice, however difficult.
