Meile....
Compared them both at a local vacuum store, and it makes the Dyson look like a plastic toy.
It is not completely 'perfect' in my picky world.....
The long cord is more of a hassle to deal with than it is helpful....
The angle that the air blows out can sometimes hit you with a puff of hot air when you draw the vacuum back closest to you. And, I wish it had one switch on the handle for convenience, instead of one for the vacuum motor and one for the brush motor.
But, this thing WORKS!!!!
The bags work so well that after an entire box of bags, which also come with a filter, the filter in the vac still looked virtually pristine.
They guy at the vacuum store had purchased a device that measured particulate matter in the air.... He put it up to the exhaust on the Meile, and it registered virtually zero. The guy was like a typical used car salesman.. Hahahahah!!!! But he also carries many other brands.... he could have pushed several different brands/models, but he said that nothing really could compare to the Meile.
Yep, it's expensive...
But considering the Dyson sitting next to it, that looked like a cheap plastic toy in comparison, runs 400-500 dollars.
I decided that, this time, I wanted the best... I wanted a vacuum that wasn't a piece of junk going to the dump in a couple years.
