I just bought a new laptop for my office and I started with an HP Envy with Windows 8 from Sam's Club. I took it home, had it for 3 days and wanted to throw it out the window. I absolutely hated the way Windows 8 worked and it wasn't very compatible with the software I use for my business. I returned it and ordered an HP Pavilion with Windows 7 directly from HP's website. I spent around $850. It works great, no problems so far.
