OK, I am in the double digits now, but just can't wait til I go to get a monorail magnet... (or 2)

I lost track of the thread on these. I see em for sale on ebay at $10 plus shipping, but must believe they are cheaper than that.

Anyone know? Also, if anyone picks up an extra, I will be glad to pay you for it.

Also, what all does it say again? The beloved spanish quote, hold on to the handrails; lastly stay clear of the doors- is that right?

Are they still available in the parks? Do you know where they are? I would be happy to pick one up for you. PM if you are interested. I can't wait to find them.

I can also make a run up to WDW and get one if you still need one.
Let me know.

I'd like to get 2, but not to inconvenience anyone or cause a special trip. Also, not sure how much they cost...

Nor do I know where they are kept, but I guess DTD would have em.

We were ther last week and looked for them everywhere. I couple of CM's actually knew what we were talking about, but said they are out of stock a lot. So if anyone finds them I need 3, one for me and each of my grown daughters. Let me know how much plus shipping of course, and thank you in advance to anyone that can find these.

I bought two (sorry-I'm not giving them up yet) at the Emporium at MK--Main Street near the first set of doors. Just look around where the magnets and pins are located.

You could also try calling the MDSE Guest Services # 407-363-6200 and order one that way. Just tell them what you are looking for and they should be able to help you out. I have called there a couple of times to order things and I have always had good luck with them.

But if someone has the sku # for the monorail magnet, I think that would help you even more( plus the CM would be able to find it faster for you too).

I remember seeing them in the resort gift shops last month (Boardwalk, CBR, etc.). I didn't get one b/c I didn't know it had sound to it. I saw them on eBay and had to get one- it was $10 plus $3 shipping- I love it and will probably wear out the batteries very fast!!! :D

It says 3 phrases in this order:

"Please hold on the the handrails"
"Please stay clear of the doors"
"Por favor montangase alejado de las puertas"

(my spelling might be off on the spanish part)

RickNWendy,

I just got back a couple of weeks ago and bought 3. I have the receipt and the magnet still in the package right in front of me. The price is $7. The batteries are replaceable - the package tells you what kind of batteries to get (2 button cell(AG13) batteries). They start you off with some though! The sku # is 16878916. The top of the receipt has a number for guest services, which is 407-363-6200. They also list a web address - WDW.MAIL.ORDER@DISNEYWORLD.COM

I am planning on putting velcro over the magnets and attaching it to my car near the steering wheel so that I can drive everyone crazy with it!!!!

It does have 3 different sayings:
Please stand clear of the doors,
The Spanish Version,
and.....
Please hold on to the handrails.

Hope that helps!!! Nothin" like putting a little Disney Magic in your everyday life, is there?!

i saw them at a kiosk in mgm near the food vendors by TOT. i wanted one but decided to wait and get it during my 'big' shopping trip to dtd.

well, i couldn't find it at dtd! or anywhere in mk after that!

i learned my lesson that if you see something you really like, buy it right then.

I just got back last night - these monorail magnets are very hard to find. I asked several CM's in the shops and no one seemed to even know what I was talking about. I had looked in hotel gift shops and there were none, but on my last day just before getting in the car to leave I found two in the Coronado Springs gift shop and bought one for myself and one for my parents. It was very magical since I thought I would not find them and then two appeared just minutes before driving away!

I will let you guys know what I find out, thanks for the email, number adn the SKU!

We bought one a couple weeks ago at the GF store.... My son loves playing with it!

I looked all over in May when I took my daughter on her 1st Monorail ride, and I couldn't find one! I wanted to get one to go with her Co-Pilots license! Any extras out there for sale?

DonnaSue,

that is a hysterical idea!!!::yes::

and I will have to get one and do the same!! my van has the
automatic doors and I could do that too..

that's for the idea!:wave2:

Yes, they were very hard to find! Here are the places that I looked where the CMs didn't know what I was talking about: WL, MK Emporium, Beach Club giftshop, and the World of Disney. We finally found two at Mickey's Toontown Fair.

I love the idea of keeping one in the van!

I got mine at the Emporium - the last two they had -and they weren't hanging where they were supposed to be - they were on a counter where a lot of other misplaced "loose" stuff was. I then went across the street to a kitchen (?) shop and noticed that they had a few. Sure hope you all find them. They are fun!!!

I think I will pick up a few extra if I find them. I'll post when I get back July 13 if we found any. Would be happy to send them out to fellow Dis Fans.

W were there last week and got one at Mickey's Star Traders in Tomorrowland.

I am going to have to get one for my van on our next trip - thanks for the idea.
