I'm at work, and there are only 2 more hours left before I can go home with my full time in today. But it's hitting me fairly hard again today (it's been a month as of this weekend. :( ) and all I want to do is GO HOME. But I know that this is only Monday, and I really don't need to take the time today when later in the week will be bad, too, and I won't want to make any up. Since there's only 2 hours left, I need to try to stick it out.

Any boosts?

And how about something to keep my mind on *besides* that night/morning and what we're going to be doing in that room shortly (repainting, etc).

(((Hugs))) 2 hours... you can do that :) I know you can, I believe in you!

as for something else to think about you can come over to the "oldies" post and commsierate with all of us "old fogies" and our music ;)

 hmmm....you could day dream about staying at your favorite WDW resort and having a full day of fun with mickey and minnie as your companions.

What type of work do you do? Can you get involved in a project which keeps your interest?

(((Hugs))) Rajah. You are an amazing woman. I have no doubt that you can make it through the next 2 hours.

you can work for a little while longer. I know it is hard, but you can do it.

Think about your favorite place to be and think about returning there.

Hang in there. I will be thinking about you

You are so right Tammi. It is so hard to concentrate. But, you've been tough to this point. You can hang on for 90 minutes more. One minute at a time. That seems to be my mantra lately. Think of WDW, being on the monorail, getting knocked down by crazy stroller moms. Hang tough sweetie.

Thanks, Binny. Already read that one. :)

b2 -- tried that, but my last WDW trip was with my parents and my dad got to come at the last minute, so I keep focusing on our last trip together instead. :( Which, while better than focusing on "that night", still hurts. :( Especially seeing his face when my mom and I told him we didn't think he'd do well on Mission Space and he *really* wanted to see it, but didn't want to get sick.

Carl -- web design, and nothing that I'm up to working on. I'm waiting for feedback on 2 projects that are at my speed at the moment.

TB -- Thanks.

Hi Tammi!

How's this for a boost: we're all thinking of you and blasting out the best vibes we can. Would you like me to send out some S-Corp justifcation links? 300 pages of that always provides me the fuel to think of something else....Hang in there.

Pat

Pat, Kimberly is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

Tammi sorry that idea didn't work....how about day dreams of ice cream?? I have some chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream in my freezer that is just calling my name....what's your favorite??

Well, Pat, while the S-corp wouldn't work (LOL! We went with DBA for now, btw -- dunno that I ever updated you) the pic of little Kim helped. :) How can you *not* look at that picture and smile. :)

B2 -- Oooh, ice cream.

My favorite is a brand called Marble Slab. It's one of those creameries that make the batches 3 gallons (or something along those lines) at a time so it's always fresh. I like to get their Amaretto flavor and mix it with their Sweet Cream flavor, and add some mini chocolate chips. Yummmmmm.

I have been reading all your posts but due to my own heartache I have not been able to respond, until now. You are such a strong person, you CAN hang in there & WILL. I just know you will!! Don't be like me, I've become a recluse since the passing of my Mom. I don't want anyone around me. YOU are the person I'd like to be! STRONG!

As others have said, think of something that makes you happy. Think of Johnny Depp kissing your toes or something! :hyper: Now he's tickling you!!! Ohh...now he's.....

Okay, nevermind....now I need to go throw a glass of ice cubes on me!!

(Truthfully, he doesn't do anything for me, but I sure hope that brought a smile to your face!) Hang in there!

Mishetta -- I tend to turn into an in-person loner, but cling to my online friends when I get this way. I'm so glad there's email, BBs like the DIS, and AIM (though I still wish I could AIM at work. *sigh*)

As for that visualization -- :rotfl:

Thanks all, that's helping. :)

And thanks to someone else's post, I've got my mind running again as to how to finish decorating and potentially stenciling or stamping the bathroom with the Mickey theme. :D

Tammi -- hope you don't have too much longer now. :wave2:

Oooh -- a Mickey bathroom. That's what I want to do to one of mine. I got a very good idea from Home Depot -- they have a brochure of one that I now want to do. DH isn't too sure, but I think it would be great.

And, Marble Slab. Now all I want for dinner is ice cream.

Mishetta -- :grouphug: Hope you feel better. I'm very sorry for your loss.

I know that when I am down, I clean. If I'm at home I clean, reorganize, straighten. Move things around to give a fresh look. You could probably do that at work, too, when you feel like you can't amke it. Get up and move around and straighten anything you can get your hands on. Busy work seems to occupy the mind if you are up and moving. Sometimes I even get a spray bbottle of 409 and a rag and clean spots on the walls, door jams, etc. And all that cleanliness just helps me feel better. Some of you may laugh, but it works for me.

Tammi, I know you are at home now, but wanted to send you a big  and let you know that I have been thinking of you lots. God bless you, and remember we are always here to send you hugs and PD!

Maybe this picture will bring out a smile.
