I am working on my All About me album now and I am ready to do my 'where I was on 9-11 and my feelings' type page -
None of the art I have found will copy without getting really pixilie when I enlarge it -
do you have a good picture you could share?
TIA
PattyT

Try yahoo photos. They had some really good ones right after 9-11. Also, I use the Altavista image search to find good pictures all the time.

Good luck!

Hi thanks for the yahoo photo idea -
those are the same photos I found with google though -
and when I try to make them any larger than a thumbnail they get muddy or pixilli - am I doing something wrong?
I tried to just copy and paste special
I also saved as a photo file.. neither was better than the other!

I don't know if this is the site you were looking at:

http://911digitalarchive.org/photograph/

It has pictures, art, etc regarding 9/11

What program are you pasting the pictures in?

These pictures you can click on and they will enlarge - and then you can copy and paste

I just copied and pasted into a word document and it came out fine.

Good Luck!

i was putting it in Printmaster -
I tried Work Perfect and YAHOO I now have good pics to use!
Thanks youfor the great link too -
Now I have to come up with the words to say...........

augh

thanks for all your help - and your little cheerleader is tooo cute ;)

I have pictures of the Pentagon. My husband was in the Pentagon in the very section it hit. His office mates were literally blown into the hallway. They all made it out fine. They actually watched the plane fly very low and stated that it was too low and then that was when it hit. If you want I could send you the pictures of the Pentagon that we took 2 days later.

Thank goodness he is safe - that must have been SOOO scary for you all!
I was amazed that of the thousands of photos I have looked at on dozens of sites I only found 1 of the Pentagon and 1 of the smoke from Pennsylvania. The towers overshadowed the other tragedies- it is very sad. Or maybe I am not looking in the right places.

this is such a HARD thing to put on paper - I can't believe how difficult it is to put my feelings out there - I have been debating doing a timeline or whatever - but I figure that the kids will get that from the history books. They need to know where we were and how it effected us. I did find a great site where I am reading the exact timeline -
and our house is in the flight path ( its like 'white-noise' didn't notice the noise til it stopped that day.) from Boston in Gardner - where flight 11 was hijacked-
