I am desperate for help with this question: How likely is it that there will be a MNSSHP on Thursday, October 20?

Last year during that week, the party was on Wednesday but during most other weeks there was a Thursday party. This year EMH are normally on Weds at MK which puts a kink in the schedule. I do remember vaguely that a proposed list of dates was posted at one time and it seems - again, I am hazy - that the party was moved to Tuesday that week. How "official" was that list of dates, does anyone know? Heck, I don't even know where the link is - it's probably right in front of me, eh?

We arrive Tuesday so we'll miss that party. I would really like to go home on Sunday so that DS wouldn't miss another day of school - it's a half week fall break so he would only miss the one day, he's in kindergarten and one day is ok, right? - but that would mean doing the Friday party and I want to avoid that at all costs. Guess we'll stay until Monday after all ... but I wish I could know for sure now.

Dates for 2005 posted here on the DIS: MNSSHP 2005 = Sept 30, Oct 2, 4, 7, 11, 13, 16 18, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30, 31

The DIS is quite confident that these are infact the dates for 2005 or they would not have posted them so early.

They are almost always on Sun, Tues, Thurs and Fri with the exception of Oct 20 of last year...

Thank you. Yes, that is the info I remember seeing posted. Hope it's wrong, since as you said they do usually have one on Thursday - but not that week. Guess I will have to plan on being there Sunday night and cross my fingers that that Disney will add that Thursday.

We were at MNSSHP in October 2003 during that week and there was not a MNSSHP on a Thursday. I'm not sure I would risk hoping they add the day.

I'm sorry to say I seriously doubt another party will be added this year.Disney has already added 2 more from last year for a total of 15 MNSSHP in 2005.

Since you're son is in kindergarten I wouldn't worry at all about him missing a day of school.

You'll be staying at WDW one more day,that ought to make you feel better!
