Wow, I checked the full hook up prices for January value season, they sure have creeped up. Seems to me they were under $50 just last year.

you ain't kiddin', bdd.

They also have really added to the weekend kicker (the premium for a Friday or Saturday night stay) particularly in the Partial sites where many tenters and locals come in for just a nice weekend in the spring or fall. It's $12 extra in the fall for Partials.

I've cut back on my days on my future trip to manage costs. Maybe WDW will raise prices to the point where it's nearly empty at the Fort.

Theres always a balance between supply and demand, too bad the uptick in the stock price isnt enough of an offset for me to be able to afford more days.

Lots better Div. stocks out there. Time to trade?

Disney is like our government,,there is no ceiling to what they are gonna charge, they think that everyone has a 40+ hour a week job, and the economy is back in full force.
Hav'n said that,
right now Disney and ALL the parks are breaking records right now, EVERYPLACE is packed to the hilt right now and a very great majority of these people are from other countries :confused3. Last night I hadda check my license to make sure I was still in the USA.
I don't know, it's just my opinion, but maybe Disney is giving outta the states deals to other countries (and not to us):confused3 And I can't blame anyone for wanting to come here, Disney is awesome !
Disney's job is to make money for their peeps, and as long as Disney can rob Peter to pay Paul,,they will,. Right now it looks like we are Peter.
Like most folk we love the Fort and Disney,,and I keep say'n it, but I think Disney really has out priced me for next year, :confused3 [

I had to write off ever coming during the holidays, I just cant stomach $140 night for a slab of concrete and some electricity. Hopefully January stays stable since thats a major part of my retirement plan, we are however looking hard at other Florida options for part of the time, going to try Lake Louisa for a few days in February.
