We just booked SSR for spring break 2013, which includes Easter Sunday!!
I swore I would never go during high season again but with a 9 year old that is just not possible anymore. I must be crazy

9 year old DS said, "I don't want to miss 5 days of school anymore, to much homework to make up when we get home"

Wow going spring break is major DVC point!!!

Haven't stayed at SSR in 4 years, how is the new Paddock pool?
We stayed in Springs area last time and the Hidden rock pool was so crowded it was no fun.

Should we go for the Paddock area this time?
Do they have a bar at the new Paddock pool?

New Paddock Pool looks very nice. There is a bar and QS food options. They are refurbing the rooms at SSR right now, at least in the Congress Park section.

You know, I have to applaud your son for speaking up. For years I took our kids out of school because it was more "convenient" and I think they really struggled to catch up afterward. I feel a little guilty in retrospect. But they all turned out fine so all's well that ends well!
