I went on the 7-day eastern in August and I really, really, miss it! I think I am actually passed the depression I felt, but it is still tough. I wish I had the funds to re-book, but the college fund needs attention. Anyone else out there miss it like I do and want to go back and cannot? What do you do to recover??

PS: This was the best vacation I have ever had. I cannot imagine anything comparing to it ever again... except for another cruise hopefully someday!

I agree with you about it being the best vacation ever. To overcome the deppression, I had to book two cruises. One that I really really wanted next christmas and one during spring break to get me to the longer one. We also watch the cruise video and watch the screen saver on our computer that I received from this board.

Still fighting off moments of depression after nearly a month back. They are fought off by starting to dream of our next run. But where's this screensaver you mention? Maybe that would help, too!

Thanks

Just like you, we sailed last August (7-day land/sea on the Wonder) and had a wonderful vacation. Withing two weeks after getting back home, we booked another cruise, the 7-day Western on the Magic, and will be cruising again the first week of March (100 days from today!). :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

I can't wait!

We sailed the 7day in January and got the $99 voucher for a 3day. If not for that we would have had to FIND a way to cruise this next year. We have booked the 7 day Western for 2004 I hope I can make it until then. At least we have 2 vacations planned for next year- a trip to WDW and a family trip to the Outerbanks of NC.

We started prepaying through the state for DD's college when she was in kindergarten. By the time she graduates from high school college will be paid for. I don't know what I would do if I had to 'think' about putting that money away.

I just read a quote on an email a friend sent that said my thoughts perfectly --

DON'T CRY BECAUSE IT'S OVER ... SMILE BECAUSE IT HAPPENED!

:D

What an excellent quote! That pretty much sums up the Disney Magic experience. Magic withdrawl is pretty rough...they need to invent a 12 step program or something!? I chose the 7 step program (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday on the Magic) and re-booked! :bounce:

book a 3 day lol wont cost as much ??
just trying to cheer up ..
