I was thinking, I do too, then I realized mine is alive but not worth the title! I miss what I could have had! My DH is the best dad ever- next to yours, of course. I am so happy I found my kids a good one. DH has to work today, you have inspired me to take him lunch! Happy Father's Day to all the DADS out there.

I went to the market this morning...I've never seen so many fathers with their children (without Moms along) on a Sunday morning...really unusual! Looked like they were all having a ball.

Thanks Dan, my dad is still around but in the vetrans home here in NH, I only wish he knew who where are, so I don't know what is worst. But at least I can still tell him I love him and care about him, and he is being well taken care of.

Just lost my father this past October after a very brief battle with lung cancer.

He was truely the best father, well respected by all who knew him, I miss him so much.

I still have my Dad, thankfully. But my Mom died Wednesday. What a shock, it still seems unreal.

Thank you Dan for another touching tribute. I'm missing my dad today. It has been 11 years but I still think of him and my mom and how I wish they had been able to see my kids grow up and meet the dear man I am now married to.
My dad gave me strength to make it through my divorce. The last time I saw him was 3 days before he died. He had come to visit me and told me how proud he was that I was able to take care of myself and my kids without my ex.
