I Miss My Cabin! Just got home from 10 days @ The Fort

We will most likely never stay anywhere on Disney property ever again! We arrived quite early in the morning on 9/19, and headed straight for the pool! Our cabin in the 2200 loop was ready by about 11am - Kenny delivered our "chariot" right afterward, groceries were delivered, and we were off to mk

We visited for the first time last Dec., so we wer amazed by the low crowds this time. I had no trouble making day-of dinner reservations, and even walking up and being seated in 5 minutes when Disney Dinig said everything was booked?!

As I go though pictures, I will try to make a mini-trip report. If you have any questions, ask away!!!

I know how you feel. We are on our way home now after a ten day stay. Where was your cabin? We looped through the cabins and didn't see any lime green ears at all...

DD still talks about going back to "the green doors".

HS3Kids - we found the Murphy Bed very comfortable. Surprisingly comfortable. Or maybe we just had really low expectations for it...

My 2yo told me this morning he wanted to go on vacation, I asked where and he said "VACATION! You know, our cabin!" As if there was no other place on earth to vacation.

What can I say? When he's right, he's right.

Sorry for the delay!

We arrived at FW bright and early on 9/19 - even though we had been on the road since 4:30am, spirts were high and we were ready to go! We were in the 2200 Loop, which was perfect for us! We loved the "Quiet Pool" for swimming at night, and it felt like we were right in the middle of everything.

Here are the chicklets happily checking out their room:

DH and I loved the cabin! Great to have the extra space, full kitchen, deck, grill, and a place for the kiddos to play outside...hunt geckos...collect pinecones, etc. Felt like a vacation for all of us

After a swim and a snack, we decided to head to MK for a few hours before dinner.

We were surprised by the low crowds! It was about 2:30pm by the time we got there - not too hot, and no waiting lines for anything at all!! We couldn't have been happier to be home...

Love the Halloween decorations!!!
