I miss mickey!!!!

I had to cancel 3 trips yesterday - June POFQ, June Pop, August AoA. We also had to cancel our July trip to Disneyland. I am sad!

I am having surgery on my spinal cord, brain stem, neck, & back. I will MISS being at the "happiest place on earth"!!!!!

Please - do one thing for me -- At the Trans & Ticket Center -- say "hi" to the hedges in the character shapes. They are so awesome. I ALWAYS say hello to each hedge. I cannot believe how anyone can be so talented as to create each character so perfectly! So - come on, please do it for me!! (No, I'm not crazy - just Disney nuts!)

And - while you're at it - please take a walk over to AoA for me. Take a walk on the path by the lake at Pop. Thank you!!!!!

Don't think of it as a cancellation - think of it as a postponement with lots more time to plan and look forward to it. Plus, there may be more new things to see by the time you get to take your delayed trip.

Whoa, Nelly! That's some serious surgery. Good luck and God speed...

On that note, last week I was in the hospital for 5 days after suffering a pulmonary embolism. The first question I ask the pulmonologist, now that I'm on a crapton of blood thinners, is whether or not I could still fly to Disney in August! I think he thought I was completely insane. He looked at me with this look as if to say, "Lady, you just cheated death and you're worried about Disney World?" Heck yeah!

I'll say hey to the hedges for ya. You just get well...

God Bless you for your surgery. You are blessed that you can go to Disney so very often! Just tell yourself that when you're better you can enjoy Disney even better. It's a great goal to get you through your medical problems; it helps me all the time. As you're rehabbing and healing just start to plan for that 'next trip'!

You will be in our prayers I Love Pluto for a speedy recovery. The DIS is a perfect place to visit while your recuperating
