When my family and I left Disney after our last trip in the spring, we all felt we'd had enough Disney for at least a few more years. I, however, am already over that feeling and would love to be able to escape from life to WDW. That's not possible right now, so I've been doing the next best thing. I've watched all 4 hours of the home videos my DH made during our last trip in the past day. Not quite like being there, but it brings back all the memories.

So...for all of you who are headed to WDW, make sure you tape lots of video. And I wish I were there with you!

Hoping to get frosted one of these days!

MY DD (now 19) and I felt the same way last Christmas...we have been going for the past 7 years in a row, sometimes 3 or 4 times a year. Last CHristmas we just really felt the crowds, and DD said she was getting tired of WDW! (How many kids..people..say that!)

I went back last March with my mom, and then DD and I went in August, just for 2 days, combining it with a beach vacation.

We again said, no more for a while...But it will be strange not being there this christmas. I think I am going to be the one who will miss it more than her. I am already talking about goine in Christmas of 2007 when My mom takes our entire family to the caribbean for a week....I am trying to convince the kid to stop on the way.

That's the story of my life! Every year I say that this trip will be our last for a long time. DD is turning 16 and DH wants to start exploring the rest of the country (go figure!) Then within a few months, we are planning another trip. Unfortunately, due to finances, and the cost of Disney, we only make it every one-two years.

Now each time we leave Disney I say that and DH just laughs at me.

99 days till my next trip to disney, can not wait. I wish I could get in the Christmas spirit as much as I have the disney spirit.

I feel the same way. We are holding out until our youngest is at least 2 1/2! The wait is so hard for me. My dh thinks I'm nuts. I use the boards for my "fix" :rotfl:

Me too. I miss Disney. We got back from a trip last Sunday. We have gone once a year the past three years and probably won't go back for about a year. I keep thinking last week I was at the MVMCP at this time or a week ago I was at Animal Kingdom. I am feeling sad but may start planning the next trip to get me feeling happier....

Me too! I live vicariously through trip reports and am always watching the boards for deals, tips or any little new tidbits about Disney!

I grew up in Florida and married military. I was so spoiled being so close! Now I really miss it and regret my daughters are not close like I was growing up.

I look back at my pictures and I actually have cried over the memories! Such good times with my loved ones.

Now we are going again, just girls, grandma and I for Christmas and I am so excited that its almost the only thing I have on my brain, day in and day out!

Love that my 15 year old still tears up when told she is going to Disney!

That's so nice! I would love to spend Christmas there, but I'm afraid of the crowds. LOL!

I think I've got a little "Post Disney Depression" going on... We just got back from a 5 day/4 night stay at the Contemporary, and I swore I wouldn't need to be back for at least 6 months. Well, I just booked Wilderness Lodge for the end of January (3 day/2night)... so I guess I didn't get my fill after all!
