Just stumbled across your PTR! Congrats on your recent wedding!!

I love all the plans you have posted for your trip We're going to be eating at a lot of the same places during our trip in October/November, so I hope you follow up with a TR and dish on how awesome the food is!

Beauty and the Beast is one of my all time favorite Disney movies and I used it as inspiration for my wedding for our decor and overall look. I have a slight obsession with Belle and I hope you post lots of pictures of your MNSHHP costume!!

OKAY! Eight days to go!

My new husband (!!!) and both got hit with colds pretty well immediately after the wedding. I planned our Disneymoon two weeks after the wedding just in case this happened, so hopefully we'll be good as new in a few days!

And now for the part I'm most excited for...

Who's excited?!

We're not necessarily doing all of them, seeing as Epcot and Hollywood Studios are kind of weird with their Tier system - I don't really care about going to see Nemo and Friends or whatever that one is. And we made FPs for a bunch of Magic Kingdom stuff that we've never been on, like Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Tomorrowland Speedway, and Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin.

Some of these days as well we booked FP just because, but we're actually going to the water parks instead. Either way! Without further adieu...

LIFE UPDATE POST WEDDING

I still can't believe we're eight days out.

We still haven't had a sec to calm down post wedding cause we both lead pretty crazy busy lives. Arthur was back to work right away, I had an audition the day after the wedding and was in the studio the next day recording an animation series, I have a new script to write and get finished before next week, our kitty cat, Gandalf, got injured and he has to wear a cone for a couple weeks ...and we've both come down with yucky colds.

Still - I get to call Arthur my husband sooo.......

We have a bunch of decluttering and putting presents away to do from the wedding - and then a bunch of pre-trip stuff to sort out. I think we need some new luggage! I'm also debating the idea of surprising Arthur and booking a limo from the airport to our hotel. Not sure yet. It will run about $175 after tax and tip, so in Canadian dollars that's like 500 bucks. (Not really, but definitely more expensive). Part of the reason I wanted to do it was because we could make a grocery run on the way for free, which I kind of like doing better than GG. By time we spend the delivery fee for GG, plus pay the delivery fee because it's coming to Grand Floridian, plus the high cost of the food, it's almost worth it to spend the extra money and start our honeymoon in style.

Because of costume rules, I don't get to wear my Belle ballgown to MNSSHP, which, even a few months later is still sad. But, I am having Belle's village costume made for me - and the wig arrived a couple weeks ago, so I'm excited to see it all come together! I have my second fitting for my Belle village costume next week. This is pretty much a bucket list item for me, to be dressed up as a Princess in WDW, and I CAN'T WAIT!!

Arthur is going as Han Solo. We are nowhere near even beginning to figure out his costume.

One thing I'm really quite sad about, is that even in our 10 day trip, we didn't manage to find time for La Nouba We've STILL never seen it and we've always wanted to. To be fair, the show is dark for a whole week that we're there so that doesn't help matters in terms of having time to get ticket. Sigh. Our next trip I guess, but after we're basically breaking our bank to do this honeymoon, I don't know when that is going to be.

But! We are doing lots of other amazingly fun things (Like Chef's Table at V&A, which we will never do again), so regardless, it'll be great! And we just booked our tickets yesterday for the Wild Africa Trek!! We're trying to assign some of these experiences to the people who gave us cash gifts at the wedding so they know what their money is going toward on our honeymoon.

Oh, did I mention 8 DAYS?!?! And that I get to share it with THIS handsome dude?!?!

There's lots of QS at AK. I've heard Flame Tree BBQ and Harambe Market are good.

Then lunch time we'll head back to Epcot and do FOOD AND WINE FESTIVAL again!

Only place I've been to (other than BOG) is Via Napoli... and of course, you have to have pizza there. It's a rule.

Today I'm getting EVERYTHING done - buying all the stuff on the WDW Prep School Ultimate Packing List, finishing my last fitting for my new Belle costume, getting a belt for Arthur's Peter Pan costume, and tying up loose ends with my business to make sure it runs smoothly while I'm gone!

Then tomorrow I have a Cinderella party to do (she's not my favourite Princess to be because I think I look horrible as a blonde!) and then Arthur and I spend the night at my Mom's, and then in the morning she's very kindly dropping us off at the airport at 5:30am!

I'm starting to get SO excited and impatient! Here's a little collage from our last trip. (Except for the photo of us with Beast which was 2012.) My favourite is the one of Woody marrying us and Buzz as the witness.

Anyone else have the Act 1 finale of Les Mis stuck in their heads? No just me? K that's cool.

I still have to pack! But I'm seriously just too excited to even do anything right now.

Me with my cat every 5 minutes this morning.

Anyway, in an hour I'm off to switch up my manicure, then start slash finish packing, go to work, and then TRY my best to sleep tonight but I know I won't be able to. We're going HOME TOMORROW!!

And - as promised, costume is done and here's a picture! I don't have any face on and the wig isn't on, so it's not truly complete - but I'll attach a picture when the whole look is put together.

My weather app is currently predicting 100% chance of 20 mm of rain all throughout the day on Tuesday which is our party day So I may have to rethink footwear for my costume for the party. I'm really hoping the weather will turn around.

I would try not to worry too much as it is September in Disney and from my experience it rains everyday and the forecast says it will rain everyday but does not mean it will rain on your party.... Have an amazing time and by the way your costume is great, belle is my fav princess. We will actually be flying to Disney this time next sat. And forgot to meant iv been following along.

Back from our AMAZING, wonderful Disneymoon. I'm going to make an actual trip report this week I think, I'm getting my wisdom teeth out on Tuesday So I'll be housebound for the week, with over 2,000 photos to go through.

But for now, just wanted to share a couple photos (they still haven't been edited though!) from our very first MNSSHP. The party POURED cats and dogs all night after 6pm, and my shoes were completely drenched, and the parade got rained out, and they only did like a 5-minute version of the Hocus Pocus show...

But it was still a complete dream come true.
